Trusted Trader Case Studies
Trusted Trader is a Trading Standards initiative. Applicants go through a rigorous vetting process by Trading Standards Officers. If accepted, members are then monitored throughout the life of their membership.

Alison Low started Eildon IT Training in a spare room in the 2020 lockdown, after volunteering as a computer buddy with East Lothian Libraries, and now runs one to one tech training and small group workshops from Haddington House in Haddington, mostly for older learners.

RGM Heating Ltd started in July 2020 when three long standing friends set out to build a heating company they could be proud of. Six years on the Rosyth firm employs twenty one people, has taken on its first two apprentices, and is close to MCS certification for solar PV and battery storage.
