We had loft insulation installed and extractor fans fitted In kitchen and toilet also vents put in on all the windows , great job done ,workers were very professional,delighted with this company and would definitely recommend.

S&P took on the task of replacing a commercial gas boiler with an array of three 12kW Vaillant heat pumps at St Boswells Village Hall. The heating is divided into four zones, with three being controlled by the Vaillant system and one via hard-wired logic. The requirement was in two parts: firstly, the building must be at least as warm as with the original heating system; and secondly, the running costs must be no more than that of the boiler. The system installed by S&P has exceeded both of those requirements and we now have a luxuriously warm building with lower running costs. As other reviewers have said, the S&P team is nothing short of excellent to deal with. This was one of the more complex installations they have undertaken and the fact that it was completed and put into operation with minimal fuss is a testament to the professionalism of this firm. What an asset to the Scottish Borders!

Phil and his team removed old decking and installed new. Phil was very responsive, giving advice, providing estimate and informing us on scheduling etc. They worked quickly and professionally, leaving us with a beautiful new deck, well in time for summer. Would definitely recommend this family business.

Fantastic job, thank you both Jake and Robert. Always on time, always friendly and very efficient. We had our hall and landing repainted but it needed sanding, walls and ceilings patched and tidied up and then painted the door frames, walls and ceilings. It looks absolutely great.

Really impressed with the preparation work with floors covered and minimal mess as possible from the sanding before the painting. Really happy with the result.

Loose slates on the roof on our house.

I contacted Robert by email and he came to inspect job a couple or days later.

He sent quote by email the same evening and on approving it he arranged the day for doing the work. This included removing plants from chimney and other areas of the roof and weedkilling chimney stack that was a job added at our request when he came to quote.

He arrived on time and completed the job to a high standard.

Invoice was recieved by email that night and the job was completed within a few days of my first email.

Efficient and polite.

We used Ornadec to replace some cornicing in our house with more period-appropriate designs. Throughout, Mark has been great to work with. His communication is responsive and straightforward, with quick responses and clear information throughout. The price quoted was fair and competitive, and it did not change after the work was completed. He arranged to order all the cornicing, which others had not offered to do, and delivered everything within the agreed timescale. Mark and Colin completed all the work to a high standard and very efficiently. The difference in the rooms is significant, and we are really pleased we got the work done, and that in Ornadec we found a high-quality specialist who cares about the finished product.

I wanted my old satellite dish removed as it hadn't been used in so many years and looked really scruffy! I contacted Derek via the Trusted Trader site and he responded really quickly with a very reasonable fixed price and I was booked in for 2 days later. Perfect! Derek arrived when he said he would, did the job quickly and with no problems. He took the dish away and left no mess at all. The side of the house looks a million times better now! They can show in detail on screen of their products.
Our shed was erected by a joiner Brian McGuff who completed the job to our satisfaction.

Overall I am happy with A1 Sheds and would recommend them.
