Boiler service . CGS engineer arrived on time after I received a text message intimating his arrival . He was very thorough , discussed aspects of the service , neat and tidy work carried out and a not unreasonable price for his work . Yet again i would recommend CGS for all work associated with boilers and radiators .

Two visits were required for service and repair.

The company offers a 2hr time slot for work and the guys arrived within the time slot on both occasions.

They were very polite and tidy and the admin. was very efficient.

Needed to have two gas fires serviced, our previous serviver having stopped doing gas fires. My initial email enquiry was answered very promptly and a date quickly set up. The engineer - Mitch - turned up within the agreed time window and did a thorough job on both fires. I'll definitely use the company again.

My boiler was toast fit for the boiler graveyard got my moneys worth so got a new one fitted in less than a day quite efficient and controlled by Bluetooth was installed and was ran through how it all worked and set up on my phone thanks Lewis ,Lauren and cammy at CGS

The engineers from CGS came promptly, were very friendly and polite. They explained what they were doing and why. They even showed me the faulty part and explained why it had stopped working.

CGS have carried out a number of jobs for us in the last few years. Most recently, a new boiler as the old one was beyond economical repair after 17 years. The job was scoped, quoted and carried out in a matter of days. They have replaced all of our radiators, had gas pipes rerouted and redundant pipes removed and a faulty cistern fixed, as well as fitting a new gas hob. We moved our boiler service plan to CGS as they offered better service, and value for money. On all occasions we have found all CGS engineers and office staff, to be very reliable, honest, courteous, communicative and friendly. CGS provide a quality and professional service which I would, and do, recommend at every opportunity.

CGS came to carry out the annual boiler service for the boiler they installed for us 4 years ago. As usual the engineer was polite and got on with the work promptly. We have used CGS for a number of years and seen them expand as a company which sometimes results in standards dropping. I'm happy to say in the case of CGS the customer service has always been great and I will continue to use them and recommend them whilst this is the case.

After several depressing experiences with heating engineers since returning to Edinburgh, and a chilly flat all winter despite a system upgrade last year, I am really pleased to have found Corstorphine Gas Services. They were recommended but that's not always a guarantee ...
I was offered an appointment next day after explaining the central heating wouldn't work in the evenings. The engineer, Shawn, arrived exactly on time, after a heads-up text to say he would be five minutes. He got it all working and explained the cause clearly; mainly a problem thermostat, which I'd suspected. I had been looking at digital thermostat reviews anyway and, after a discussion, decided to switch to a Hive.
It has been four days since Shawn returned to instal it: the flat is much warmer now that the system really works properly. Delighted with the Hive thermostat; it's far simpler to understand than the traditional one, which I could never fathom. Shawn was very pleasant, patient with questions, and cleared up carefully after both visits. From my first phone contact with the office, I was impressed by everyone's great attitude and manner – and they did a proper job.

We have had a new gas boiler and gas fire fitted. Excellent service provided at competitive price.

I have recently moved to Corstorphine Gas Services from a previous supplier. I have recently had my central heating serviced and a fault was found which was repaired and my system, although old, is now functioning in a much more efficient way than it has for some time. I am very happy with them and would certainly recommend them. Communication with the office is excellent and the work is carried out on time, efficiently and tidily.

My bathroom radiator was leaking so called CGS they came to check and fixed it temporarily as l did need a new one . A few days later Harry arrived on time as promised and quickly and efficiently changed radiators over . As usual this was a job well done from this excellent company so thank you Harry and also Lauren for great communication and will always use in future.
