Review a trader

PSZ Stone have just completed repointing works to our entire shared stone building and I could not be happier with the result.

I contacted a number of stonemasons before deciding to go ahead with PSZ, having received positive feedback from someone whose tenement building they had previously worked on. Their quotation was competitive and in line with other quotes received.

Peter responded promptly throughout, the work started in April and was completed in around three weeks.

There was 2–3 on site each day and they were worked efficiently left the site tidy at the end of every day, and just really pleasant.

I was nervous about the work following a poor experience with another stonemason and other trades in the past, and Andrew was very approachable, took time to explain what they were doing and carried out a test sample.

I’m very glad we chose PSZ Stone. The finished result looks great - the building looks like it's had a face lift, and they were a pleasure to deal with throughout.

I will absolutely use again for other stone and repointing work.

W&S Christie replaced a 50 year old large garage flat roof surface and completed the job early and in accordance with the quotation. They maintained excellent contact through the process and were a delight to have on our property with personable, pleasant, polite and accommodating staff. He was extremely professional and polite. He approached the problem in a quick and logical manner, ensuring there was adequate protection to the area.
He carried out a full range of tests on the electrical system using the appropriate electrical equipment which did not show any problem.He then tested the appliances and diagnosed the fault. He advised that the fault was not one he could solve and recommended that I contact a specialist in domestic appliances.

I used Corstorphine Gas Services to completely renovate my bathroom, which involved stripping it back to the brick and completely changing the layout. I was initially leaning towards using a large national company, but I’m so glad I chose to keep it local.

Throughout the project, communication was excellent. Any snags (which you have to expect in a 100-year-old tenement) were resolved without any complaint. To give you an idea of their commitment, one issue resulted in a wall being taken back down and entirely replaced, all at no additional cost to me.

The quality of the workmanship is superb, and the transformation from what it was before is remarkable. The company clearly prides itself on quality and customer service, as this was apparent throughout my entire experience with them.

Replaced door locks as one broke suddenly and I couldn't close or lock the door. Very quick to come out that day. Explained all costs before starting the work. Very efficient and friendly. Would definitely use again and would recommend.

We had our lounge stripped of wallpaper and redecorated . Very good work by father and daughter team who were very pleasant and worked hard for the 4 days they were here .
Good attention to detail . Would recommend them , infact they are coming back !
