Mike did a great job servicing my gas fire and boiler. I have used CGS for several years as i find them thorough, responsive, friendly and reliable.

I had my boiler serviced recently.
The service engineer was very pleasant and chatty.
Have used this company previously and would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Replaced basin, toilet and flooring in shower room. Problems occurred but were all solved:
Visit 1: Toilet, basin and flooring removed. Damp was found under the existing flooring so the work couldn’t be completed in one day as planned as the damp needed to dry before new flooring or sanitary ware could be fitted. With visitors due a few day later, I was very grateful that a repeat visit was scheduled before the visitors arrived.
Visit 2: The plan was to complete the work. The flooring was laid but when unwrapped, it was found the wrong toilet had been sent! The “wrong” toilet was fitted for my visitors and a further visit scheduled to replace with the correct toilet.
Visit 3: “Wrong” toilet removed before the correct toilet was unwrapped - it was broken! “Wrong” and broken toilet taken away.
Visit 4: Correct toilet fitted (before next visitors arrived!) After the engineers had left, I sat on the toilet only to see a large adhesive label was attached to the basin and resistant to my attempts to remove!

I now had a fully functional shower room. Further engineer visits were needed to remove the basin label and re-do some silicone work.

The final outcome is good and a great improvement. The engineers were all very pleasant. For every visit, notice of arrival time was communicated on the day efficiently by text. Office staff were extremely helpful arranging visits to suit my availability for which I was extremely grateful.

From this experience I am happy to recommend this company highly.

Have had my boiler and gas fire serviced for the last three years by Michael and Mitch and have found them very efficient and friendly.
Also had a problem with one of our radiators which Michael was able to sort.

A corroded part of the boiler was replaced. Not an easy task but Ethan was amazing and very patiently got it done. Everything so tidy I would never have thought I had had anything done.
