I first had Corstorphine Gas in to fix a gas leak 'somewhere' in my home. They suggested a straightforward and cost-effective solution to the problem. There was minimal disruption, it was complete within the day, and they were very tidy. The problem was fixed and I have had no issues since.

I had them back again a few months later to replace my old boiler and update the radiators and heating system as a whole. Again, their recommended plan was simple and cost-effective. Despite them working in every room in my home, there was minimal disruption and they were very tidy. I now have an efficient boiler and a warm home.

Every member of the team I met was knowledgable, polite and friendly, and good at their job. They did a great job at a good price.

We used this company to remove and cap and old gas fire. From start to finish the communication, quote and service was so easy and efficient. They are so professional and trustworthy that we have booked them in to fit our new bathroom.

I asked then to remove a gas heater. The whole process was perfect from ordering to completion. They have an interactive tracking, so you know exactly just before they are going to arrive. They not only removed the fire, they removed and made safe all the electrics etc. They also cleaned up completely after.
Impossible to fault and would have no hesitation in recommending them.

As always a professional service from CGS and excellent value. Some of the things I really love about CGS:
1) I have never seen their vans parked in considerately (e.g. blocking pavements or too close to driveways etc.)
2) Whenever I see any of their staff they are always courteous and look professional not hanging about smoking on the street or swearing loudly like some tradespeople.
3) They never patronise you or try to pull the wool over your eyes. They treat you with respect and give you honest evaluations about what work does and doesn't need doing.
4) They are excellent value for money, in a world where many folk are charging more and more their prices remain extremely competitive despite giving a better service than most!

On moving to the area, my requirement was to have a bath removed from my bathroom and a shower tray and enclosure formed in its place.
I made contact with Corstorphine Gas Services as I had read, and heard great reports on the service, and quality of work they provide.
Lewis attended my house as arranged and discussed requirements and gave excellent advice, followed by a detailed cost estimate and I went ahead with the project.
At all times during the work CGS communications and service was excellent, and I knew all timescales and work scopes that were always adhered to.
During the work, all CGS personnel were very courteous, with work carried out to a high standard, always leaving worksite very tidy.
Project was very well managed by Lewis, and his team and will be happy to use CGS for future work.

We discovered this firm earlier this year and have asked them to do 3 jobs from installing a brand new bathroom including all the new pipe work to moving radiators and we won’t go elsewhere now. We obtained a quote from Corstorphine Gas Services because they are a Trusted Trader on the website run by Edinburgh City Council Trading Standards.
The engineer who provided the quote for a combi boiler and removal of a large water tank arrived promptly and was polite and knowledgeable. We obtained three quotes in total.
The work was undertaken on the two days agreed. The staff were efficient and laid down floor coverings where required. The new copper pipework below the boiler is a very neat job. We are pleased to have had an efficient boiler installed bearing in mind the hike in energy prices.

Had a replacement combi boiler. The quote confirmation, pre fit visit was carried out very promptly. The work was carried out very shortly afterwards. The fitters arrived exactly at the time stated, phoned to confirm on their way. Took the old boiler etc away. Left the place spotless. Would never know they’d been. Corstorphine Gas Services were recommended to me by a friend. I have already recommended them to another friend and we are less than a week post installation.

Great service from the whole team! Lewis worked out a plan of action then at each step we were kept updated by the office staff and engineers arrived on time. All the staff were so helpful and friendly and we finally got a fix for an ongoing problem with a new vertical radiator. Will definitely use them again if we need to.
