Smoke alarm replacement and inter linked heat alarm installed, compliant with new Scottish regulations. Quality wireless set up from leading manufacturer included in quote at a reasonable price. Alarms tested after completion. I would recommend this company and will use their service again. I had the switch for my shower fixed, the guy informed me that the wiring was not safe and fixed the problem. He was very professional and polite and cleaned up any mess that was left, I was very happy with the job he did I would recommend Ideal Electrical Solutions very highly.

Two dimmer switches replaced with normal switches, pendant fitting checked a repaired, and my smoke alarm tested. The electrician who visited the property was friendly professional and helpful. I must add that the whole experience from initial contact to completion of work and payment was a delight. Ideal Electrical Solutions communication is the best I have come across from any trade company I have dealt with in the past, from the booking of the appointment online, reminder emails, invoice and receipt and the ability to make easy payments on a computer system they are using that makes it clear at every stage. Very impressed, and I will only be using this company for electrical work in the future

I used Ideal Electrical Solutions for major electrical work on a large extension as well as various other jobs, including fitting ceiling lights, connecting electric heaters, installing a new timer for an immersion tank. They are responsive, reliable and efficient. I would definitely recommend them.

Electrical (EICR) and fire certificate. Responded to request for work with a quote and availability almost immediately on multiple occasions. Electricians always arrived on time and when expected and carried out their work professionally and efficiently.
The work was being certified for a building warrant and when the council raised issues Mark, the managing director stepped in and clarified and resolved the issues raised directly and promptly without being asked. It was greatly appreciated and would recommend the business as friendly and reliable.

Ideal called me back as soon as I got in touch, talked through my requirements and provided a detailed quote. They arrived when they said they would and got to work promptly and efficiently. I had a number of jobs: from light fittings through to replacement heaters. The electrician worked really quickly and did it all in one morning with minimum disruption. He was very polite and friendly and wore a mask throughout. Costs were very reasonable and I would definitely use them again.
