I am one happy customer.
Just concluded a job and the service was professional end-to-end, from estimates, query resolution through to delivery - on time, efficient, cheery, solved problems, high standard of work and great communication. This is refreshing! A shout out for Sean, a real stand out and great ambassador for the business.
I felt very comfortable with them working away in my home and wouldn’t hesitate to commission them again.
Finds like these are like gold, so go on, give them a try.

Ideal Electrical provide a prompt efficient and friendly service. Office staff are warm and friendly, appointment reminders are sent out. The electricians are great and when I did have a query I spoke to Mark the owner who couldn’t be more helpful. This is an honest reliable and trustworthy company.

What should have been a simple light fitting ended up a bit more complicated due to old wiring. However the two electricians who came out handled it well, done a great job and left me with a working light fitting.
Communication over running late for the slot could have been better, otherwise a faultless job, and for a very reasonable price compared to local competitors.

I've been using Ideal Electrical Solutions for a number of years now for my domestic electrical needs. They have replaced bathroom extractors, fitted additional plugs in my electrical installation, advised on electrical vehicle chargers and now domestic fire alarms to comply with new Scottish regulations coming into play in 2022. Always prompt to respond to my quotation requests. They have an online invoicing system to allow fast payments and just generally good service which is often difficult to find with Edinburgh tradesman. Overall I've not had any issues using Ideal Electrical Solutions and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a solid reliable electrician.

Fitted a new led strip around sky light.
We received a reminder email the day before the scheduled day. That give you a feeling of confidence the someone will turn up.
Bang on time the electrician arrived. After a brief chat he got straight down to work. Everything completed and tidy within the hour.

EICR and PAT testing carried out, followed up with some remedial works. From first asking for a quote to completion of the job everything was done very professionally, efficiently and promptly. The electrician who came arrived within the time frame given, was polite, knowledgeable, professional in his manner and tidy. Emails were answered quickly. Will use again and would not hesitate to recommend this company.

I asked for a quote to have communal lights fixed and the light timer to be put back into a correct sequence after power cuts left it all over the place. I received a quote very quickly and it was a very good price. The work was carried out very soon after the invoice was paid and all contact had with the company was very good. Brilliant job and brilliant customer service. I shall use this company again and recommend them to anyone who needs an electrical job done.

I had required smoke and heat alarms installed in my home. From initially contacting Ideal Electrical Solutions (UK) Ltd, until the job completion, there were no issues at all.
Communications with IES, were excellent, and e mails dealt with promptly. I would have no hesitation in utilising IES again, for any works required in my home.

Was easy to contact and have a quick appointment. They visited the space, had it evaluated and sent a quotation within 2 days. I reviewed some things and they were happy to assist. they came, installed all described in the project work list and left the premises clean and tidy ( A retail shop)
