A fantastic contractor who has made the difficult task at hand with our property so manageable & hassle free. Great support and advice at the initial stage from the office team and then the same level of service once the engineers came to site to carry out the work.

Mark and his team done a great job when I was renovating my flat! They fitted in around plasterers, joiners etc and everything was done to a great standard and reasonable price too.

I recently had electrical work done by IES. I needed a full rewire from an old electrical box. Mark came round and advised me as to what would be the best way forward. He was very easy to talk to and gave brilliant advise. The team he sent to carry out the work were very efficient and tidied up as they went along. I would 100% recommend them to anyone. Great job guys!

I've used Ideal for a number of years. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to my friends family and colleagues.

We had our main replaced and a socket renewed.
They are on time and gave us reminder, payment method was easy. They did what we asked for.
But the engineer didn’t leave us enough time to check/ test the socket or explain/ greet and left the house quickly maybe he wanted his lunch?!

The company was very easy to communicate with to receive a quote and set up the works. I especially liked how easy the online invoice system was. The price was reasonable and the electricians professional. I have only marked down from 5 stars as there was a delay on the day and there was some minor damage to recently painted ceilings.

Installed some lights and gave some advice. Very friendly, tidy and rapid. End result is neat and looks good. Advice was given with respect and honesty

Had Landlord safety checks carried out. Mark could not have been more helpful. Very efficient process. Would not hesitate to recommend. IES are now my “go to” for electrical and gas problems.

We had EICR, PAT and Fire Alarm certificates for a rental property, and then a new fuse box installed after failing EICR.

Used them a few times now and they always turn up for appointment at times given, have even allowed us to reschedule at short notice without penalty. They give clear quotes and prices up front which i like, although seem expensive for hourly rate £60/hour, but every electrician we have used for rental properties seem to charge a lot now.

They send quotes, invoices, receipts and certificates all electronically, which again we really appreciate in order to keep our records straight.

Only pain is not being able to pay online, have to phone the office to pay by card, but are all helpful and pleasant.

Considering using them exclusively for our rental business now as they have yet to let us down.
