IES were part of a large team working for a tier 2 contractor completing major electrical works on one of Edinburgh Universities new research facilities over a 12 month period.
Their scope of works included the following;

1) small power and lighting/lighting controls containment, wiring & final fix
2) dado trunking installation
3) underfloor busbar and floorbox Installation
4) Distribution board termination
5) Electrical testing
6) PAT testing
7) Producing electrical test certification and “as installed” drawings

Their team were very professional, punctual and accommodating to the clients requirements. The installation was completed on time and achieved the required quality standards, whilst utilising a BIM system to raise, monitor and close any issues arising.

IES produced weekly plans extracted directly from the contract programme to efficiently monitor and direct works whilst attending SIC meetings to highlight any issues preventing them from progressing as planned

I would highly recommend this electrical contractor and will definitely use them in the future

I got the guys to do a lot of work for me when I was selling my flat. I had previously been let down by another company who had arranged to come and have me excuses twice for two no shows.

Ideal were polite and tidy workers, arrived on time and got the work done. The main thing for me was being there when they said they would as I don't live in Edinburgh and driving through twice to be let down was a pain in the backside.

I was happy with price, it was under what I had budgeted.

They also take credit card payments which was really handy as the other mob were demanding cash as they couldn't take cards.

If I still loved in Edinburgh I would happily use them again.

Very good work carried out and tidy

We called upon the services of Ideal Electrical Solutions for a project we were working on in Edinburgh tram depot. This project involved 66x double socket all wired up within close vicinity of one another. A time consuming job carried out faultlessly.

We had smoke and heat detectors installed in two properties we have. The company did a site visit. Gave an estimate which we were happy with. Agreed a date and time. They arrived when they said they would. Workmen were efficient and cleaned up after them.
The company were also involved in the renovating of my daughters small flat. They took the pressure off me, by being the main liaison point for the other trades involved.

I had my old fuse box taken out and replaced with a new one. Very straightforward to deal with, polite and tidy would definitely recommend.
