WH Kay replaced cement flashings on the roof. The surrounding area was protected prior to the start of the job which was then completed to a very high standard. On completion, the site was cleaned to perfection.

An excellent company which I have used on several occasions over the years. WH Kay is a credit to a sometimes maligned building industry. I have no hesitation in recommending for all building trades.

The guys were really professional and friendly and accommodating. They came out really quickly for what was quite a small job.

We had a number of curtain poles and blinds fitted and they made a really good job. They also added shelving to two wardrobes and few other smaller jobs.

David came to fix parts of our roof, replacing damaged tiles and repairing a flat felt roof. He was quick to come by and quote, fit us in as soon as he was able for the work and was professional & helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Alan attended to urgent roof and gutter repairs with a temporary repair during the festive period and then returned in early January to complete the permanent repair and undertake general maintenance on the main roof, the extension and outbuildings. The work was carried out diligently on the listed building and represented good value for money.

General roof repairs and maintenance (long overdue). Alan and his team/family are a pleasure to do business with. In particular, he communicates his plans, giving plenty of notice of when he anticipates doing the work. He then turns up as promised. He provides clear and frank feedback on the issues/faults identified, and options for their remediation. The team arrive early, work a long day, taking very strict coffee/lunch breaks, and then clear up afterwards. Indeed, they are very tidy workers. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them.

We asked the Kays to come to check over our roof before the winter. We have used them before and recommend them as consistently reliable, thorough and trustworthy.

We had an internal boundary wall repaired in our conservatory (damp issues). Afterwards, they arranged the plastering and this work was also completed to a very high standard.

WE approached W. H. Kay at a time when they were being asked to do a lot of work and so could not carry out our job until spring 2022. However, they said if it was possible they would come before that. This is what they did. It was timely because shortly afterwards there was a spate of very wet weather.
The job involved accessing a roof and replacing broken pantiles and related repairs.

Remove broken guttering from Conservatory and replace with new to match existing. In addition, grind out old cement on front roof, repoint with colour mixed waterproof material.
Remove all rubbish.

David was recommended by a neighbour and replaced a zinc ridge on our roof that had come off in a storm. He did this to a very high standard and at the same time checked the roof slates, replacing or refixing as needed. He did a great job, came when he said he would and gave us great confidence in the work done.

A number of tiles came loose on our B listed roof during a recent storm. All repairs carried out efficiently and our blocked gutters were also cleared. Good communication, and really nice guys. Will definitely recommend them, and will use the company again

Replaced cement on gable and repaired and improved drainage on gutters at roof level. David was very honest and straightforward about constraints in scheduling work and willing to negotiate around start times. Performed work to high standard in time specified and cleared up well and kept to estimate on quoted invoice.
