I contacted Alan about adding some perpend vents and sealing a window that another contractor had left unfinished. We needed this work done in order to get a completion certificate from the council. Alan was professional and friendly throughout the process, the work was done sooner than we had originally expected, and we were able to successfully get our completion certificate. Would definitely recommend!

Friendly, efficient, tidy.

I have had Alan to come to my property to do two similar jobs. He replaced concrete sills. On both occasions Alan arrived when he said he would and worked hard to complete the jobs. The first sill was in an extremely bad state and when he came to assess the job he removed dangerous parts of the sill and sealed it without payment or any guarantee of getting the job. Found him to be very reliable and would definitely use him in the future.

Very nice job done removing an old and re-building a new cupboard in our bathroom to house water tanks and underfloor heating control gear etc. Quoted promptly for the works, gave an estimated time to do the job and then was able to fit us in quicker when a gap appeared in work schedule. Repair of old doors and porch woodwork. I was pleased that the joiner agreed to undertake this because it is time consuming and fiddly to get right and looking good. It was also done sooner than I expected. Everything was done tidily and tidy at end.

Full refurbishment of wooden front door.

We have used David for a number of jobs in our property including roof and guttering repairs. We have always found him entirely fair, trustworthy and reliable.
On this occasion he removed and renovated our old and tired large wooden front door, repaired and refurbished it and added new ironmongery and draught proofing. It has made the door far more secure and insulating and it now looks great. I will have no hesitation in using David and W H Kay again in the future.

General roof maintenance and replacement of ridge tiles on extension, very helpful, polite and reliable, would highly recommend.

Repair to garage fascia and gutter due to storm damage. Had to wait a little while for work to fitted into schedule but communication good and very happy with work done. Second time used W.H.Kay and would not hesitate to use again in the future if required.
