Delighted with first class prompt service for my washing machine and cooker.

Electric Cooker ring replaced. Mr Rutherford came at the arranged time.
He replaced a broken spiral ring on an old electric cooker.

This was not a particularly easy job, but he persisted and the replacement ring was tested and is working perfectly. He seemed very competent, with many years experience of domestic appliance repair work. I would definitely call him out again if needed, and recommend him to friends and family.

He was courteous and wearing work uniform, and took anti Covid 19 virus precautions, wearing a mask, having used antiseptic gel, and he thoroughly washed his hands before leaving.

Billy came round quickly, and very efficiently replaced the motor in our washing machine, which is now working perfectly.

Billy responded to my email very quickly and I only had to wait a day before he came to fix my oven which needed a replacement element.

He was careful about distancing and used a mask. He did the job quickly and was a nice guy too! Will be using him if I need anything else!

Billy came out to us at short notice to look at our oven which had stopped heating up. Given current COVID-19 conditions, he arrived with a face mask & gloves. He worked away in the kitchen & shouted if he needed us. We have a young child & are so grateful he came & helped fix our oven for us. It was fixed & sorted in half an hour. Billy uninstalled my old dishwasher, which was hard wired to the electricity and left it outside my property. Once the new dishwasher was delivered outside my property, he came back and installed it. As I was getting the old dishwasher recycled via the company supplying the new dishwasher, it was important to me that Billy took out the old dishwasher before the new one arrived. He agreed times in advance and was very reliable, and he carried out a good job. As this was during the Covid19 lockdown, Billy wore a protective mask and gloves. I would recommend him.

Billy installed a new dishwasher. He got back by text really quickly and asked for confirmation that you’d got his texts so everyone knew what you as going on! Would definitely use again.

We cannot praise Billy enough. During these challenging times of Coronavirus, Billy came to our rescue. You see, we live in Switzerland, and my mother-in-law in Edinburgh. My mother-in-law's washing machine started making an awful noise and not spinning properly. So step 1, reach out to Billy (having found him on this site with great reviews). After discussion with him we decided to look for a new machine. Step 2, Billy went and disconnected the old machine, and then when the new machine was delivered he went back (the same day) and installed it (step 3). He went over an above in helping mum and we cannot thank him enough. He was reliable, efficient, caring and given he was dealing with an unusual situation extremely adaptable. My husband, myself and my mother-in-law would all recommend Billy highly. He made a challenging situation manageable especially when other traders and companies are being less helpful. Washing machine broke down during the lock-down. Billy came out the same day, armed with his tool kit, mask and gloves. With his great knowledge and experience, the washing machine fault was diagnosed and fixed within the hour. Happy to recommend such a friendly and hard-working professional.

Billy provided a professional and dedicated service despite the current lockdown. We had an issue with the heating element in our oven, Billy arrived the following day and observed social distancing whilst wearing a mask and gloves an absolute plus for those who are vulnerable or may be uncomfortable with someone outwith your family coming into your home. Excellent response and service, especially considering these difficult times of Covid 19. Billy came out at short notice when my oven broke down. He was professional and friendly , operating within the social distancing guidelines and using gloves and a mask. After assessment I decided it might be better to replace the oven. He sourced a new oven in a couple of hours and returned to fit it. I would recommend him to anyone.

Mr Rutherford came out later the same day as I called to fix our broken oven (even during the pandemic) He very quickly identified and fixed the problem.
Also, he observed social distancing & wore a mask & gloves - which was very much appreciated.
