Business Information
With over 30 years experience in the Domestic Appliance Industry, I started my career with an Edinburgh firm, ACE Domestic Appliances. After 10 years service I moved to work with National Homecare (Servis UK) and was approached by Alan Wallace, of Wallace’s Domestic Appliances to take a position with his reputable company.
Having worked 18 years with Wallace’s I have now branched out to set up my own company, BR Domestic Appliance Specialist, based in Midlothian – covering Edinburgh and the Lothians.

What can I say that hasn't been said already. Billy is a first class guy and I would happily recommend him to anyone. I needed the digital clock on my range cooker repaired. After my initial enquiry Billy arrived to see the problem. He advised on what was needed and some parts had to be ordered. Once they arrived Billy returned to carry out the repair. I have admire his determination to get the unit fitted and working. Many thanks Billy.

My washing machine was spinning intermittently. Billy quickly came to have a look and was able to open the filter which was jammed. Unfortunately this didn’t solve the issue but Billy happily came back on 2 further occasions to try and get the machine working. Despite being unable to fix the machine (new one required) I would happily recommend Billy. His desire to solve the problem with repeat visits shows his commitment to customer satisfaction.

The dishwasher hose was chewed by mice. Billy came at short notice, fitted a replacement hose along with a protective mesh net which should prevent the problem recurring.

My washing stopped spinning Billy came out the next day to fix it. I explained the issue I was having and he immediately went right to the problem which was a blocked pipe under my sink. Very reasonable price and professional. Would certainly recommend him.

Billy managed to fit us into his busy schedule as the washing machine wasn’t working. He fixed it quickly for a reasonable price and explained how to prevent issue arising again. He was efficient and tidy. We would definitely use him again.

I had an intermittent, worsening fault in my washing machine. Billy was able to find the fault and fix the problem in one visit. He returned my call, was happy to communicate via text and was able to schedule a visit at short notice. All very helpful when you have young family and endless laundry.

Removal of semi integrated dishwasher and fitting of free standing dishwasher . Disconnecting washing machine and installing new machine.
Billy was prompt . The removal of old dishwasher was more complicated than first thought. Billy completed the job - cut the plynth to fit .
All in all superb work and despite job being more complicated kept to quoted price.

I am so pleased with the excellent service provided by Billy. He has a marvelous work ethic displaying knowledge, experience, punctuality and the patience to explain what was required along with the cost. The waiting time for the appointment was very short and the price an incredible bargain for a washing machine repair. I would recommend Billy to anyone.

When my washing machine broke down my usual repair company couldn't come out til Tuesday, they gave me BR Domestic' s number, he came out same day and managed to repair my machine. Charged what he quoted over the phone and tied up when the job was complete. Very impressed, will use again!
