I attended their office at Stenhouse Cross and was given good advice on picking a new door.

Communication by email was excellent in arranging an appointment to measure up , for keeping me informed of the order and fitting status.

On the day the fitters turned up when they said they would and carried out a fantastic job.

GR Window and Doors replaced all the upstairs windows, and one downstairs, which had seen better days.

After a call their surveyor came out, measured up, and gave us welcome advice on the types of windows and features that would suit our situation.

Following that visit communication by email was prompt and fitting was arranged around five weeks after placing the order.

The fitters arrived on schedule and completed the work over two days.

The fitters worked diligently and spotlessly and did a great job.

The all-round process was straightforward and we are delighted with the end result.

I couldn’t recommend them enough. They were great and very professional throughout from initial conversation and approximate quote to measuring up for the actual quote and installation. One of our windows was particularly difficult and the installation wasn’t easy but they were able to install and ensured the house was left clean and tidy.

Replaced a window and a door handle. Communication prior to doing the work was very good. The work was carried out quickly and efficiently.

I contacted GR Windows and Doors for a quote for a new front door. The whole process was seamless from arranging a surveyor to come out to measure to the actual fitting of the door. Wes in the office was very helpful and responded to e-mails quickly. On the fitting day, the fitters arrived ahead of schedule and were very efficient and did a great job. We contacted GR Services to replace our back door - we knew exactly what we wanted, and the team were able to give us a quote on the same day. This was followed by a survey to take measurements and have a final discussion about options. Then we agreed to proceed and booked a date for the new door to be fitted. Communication throughout the process with Wes in the office was excellent and the fitters on the day were really lovely.
We would definitely use GR Services again and recommend them to others.

I wanted a window with a design on it. Although I didn't choose this company in the end, they were prompt with a quote, good customer service and follow up. Price was more competitive than some glaziers in Edinburgh.

I needed a door handle on a tilt-slide balcony door replaced, and after being let down by the original installers, and the firm that replaced the handle 5 years ago, GR Window & Doors had the job completed with minimum fuss and maximum satisfaction. I was at my wits end after being let down, and would recommend and use these guys again.

We have just had a new door. We were very happy with the company. Genuine guys, no hard sell, honest and reliable. Andy came and was knowledgeable about the different doors and their construction and suitability but left the decision to us. 2 guys arrived on time and were very polite. They took the time to do the job properly and explained what they were doing as they went along. They were very keen to make sure I was absolutely happy with everything. The final finish sealant and trims were made to measure. I think we got one of the cheaper doors and the quality of it is excellent so don't feel you have to go for the more expensive ones. They will give you good advice based on your needs and not try and sell you what you don't require.

I had a window pane replacement fitted and some sealing on outside of window. They sent Dave out within a couple of days of phoning and able to complete the job about a week and a half later (non-urgent job).

Dave was extremely helpful and did the job to a high standard. I really liked that he explained everything very clearly and felt I was receiving good advice. I will use their services again. There was a mix up over time job due to start, but really minor.
