Recently had doors and 5 windows done and received great service. The weather was pretty terrible one day but the team soldiered on to get the work complete! Had a couple of issues which were quickly resolved. I Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend GR windows to anyone. Very happy with the work and the team ????

All round great experience, good customer service and the cheapest price by quite a long way.

We contacted GR Windows & Doors to get a quote to replace an old timber window with a new PVC sash and case, to match as closely as possible the rest of the windows in the house.

The estimator came during the time window he said he would, was quick and efficient at measuring and quoting and got back to us very quickly with the quotation. I feel he did rush the measurements (he must quote for loads of people who don’t go ahead), which resulted in the window being small for the space when fitted. Luckily it was within the margin of error and the guys could fit it, albeit with more expanding foam around it than they’d have ideally liked. However, you wouldn’t know this looking at the window once fitted.

Wes was helpful via email at confirming timeframes and letting us come to view the samples of windows in-person.

The fitting was a number of months after quotation, but this was clearly communicated and out of their hands due to covid/supply chains etc, so no issues. Another measurement to ensure accuracy before goods were ordered would have put our minds at ease more here.

The fitters arrived when they said they would, were very efficient and quick at replacing the old window, tidied up as best as they could and left the window surround in as good condition as they could (a little bit of decorating required, but this was expected).

All in all a very good experience with all parts of the service and a great window now in place at a fraction of the price of some quotes.

I contacted GR Window and Door Specialists to quote me for a new front door and replacing a number of windows. They contacted me back very quickly and arranged to visit my property to quote for the work.
From start to finish they acted in a professional manner and once I had accepted the quote they quickly arranged an installation date.
On the day of fitting they attended on time and carried out the work to a very high standard.
I am very pleased with the work and would recommend them in future. I will be using them again in the near future to replace the last few windows in my property.
In summary a very professional company and it's nice to find a trustworthy company who can deliver on promises and at a very reasonable price.

I originally contacted Graeme and his team to fix a window; they came out and put a temporary fix on it (no charge) while my partner and I decided whether to just replace our windows outright. Andy came out to evaluate and talk us through the various options; GR had an excellent reputation and their evaluation was on the cheaper end of the scale too!

The windows were put in yesterday, and the team were punctual, professional and got a difficult job (4th floor flat in middle of the Old Town) done with a minimum of fuss. They are a massive improvement on what was there before, and very reasonably priced.

I could not recommend G R Window & Door Specialists highly enough. Last year I had two bedroom windows replaced by one of the big Companies. The work was fine. This year, with lockdown I wanted to use the services of a local business and I am so glad that I did.

The work wasn't fine but EXCEPTIONAL! Higher standard of finishing and attention to detail than the bigger company.
From quotation stage to fitting, I was kept up to date with developments in a professional manner. Huge thanks to Colin and Shane, the fitters who were friendly and professional and left no hint that I had windows replaced.

Excellent service, booked an appointment for the engineer to look at the job. He turned up on time and was able to do it there and then. Even helped fix another door which wasn't on our original job. Repairs were completed to a high standard and I was asked to check I was happy before the engineer left. Very reasonable prices too.

GR Windows & Doors recently fitted replacement windows for our home. From the initial contact, quote through to the fitting, we have been so impressed with the quality and value for money. The fitters were excellent with a really impressive finish to the work and they were clean and tidy throughout.

- No hard sell - just a fair price and everything laid out simply so that we understood how the job would go if we were to go ahead.
- Quality - we had sash and case windows replaced and due to the way they scoped the job, were able to retain all of the existing wood facings and architraves with minimal impact on the existing frames - just some paint touch up.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to anyone looking for windows and doors for their home.

We had original wood windows throughout the front of our villa flat and wanted to get PVC double-glazing but keep the look and feel of our heritage windows. Graeme suggested we replace our old windows with sash and case PVC, and we are very happy with the results. The service and the standard of the windows were all excellent. Graeme, Chris and Andy were all great to work with and patiently and knowledgably answered all our questions, and were very accomodating. The cost was better than all the other companies we looked at as well. We'd highly recommend GR Windows.

My favourite type of salesperson came to quote for us, someone who knows the trade and the product, which is rare and a delight. Guys came on time when arranged, no mess left, really accommodating. Couldn't have been more slick. The door itself has made a massive difference to the outside look and inside heat of the property. Would highly recommend to anyone needing a local trader.

I had an issue with aluminium french doors which would no longer open. Graeme responded quickly to my initial email and Andy subsequently visited to assess what repair would be required. The job needed two people to attend and an appointment was booked for the following week. The work was completed with the minimum of disruption and the door now works perfectly. The process throughout was friendly, professional and efficient and I would have no hesitation in recommending the company.

I had two brand new sash and case windows replaced in my flat and one window refurbed. The work carried out by GR Services was excellent. Everything was done as planned, the finish is great and the guys were very friendly, helpful and professional. I would highly recommend and will use again.

They did a great job. Really pleased with the quality and the price was very competitive. Workmen were polite, friendly and cleaned up after themselves.

Most importantly, for me, there was no hard sell when I asked for a quote. They came round and measured up, asked me for all the details needed and were done in less than an hour. Got back to me a couple of days later with the quote. No putting up with a salesman for the whole evening who says you can only get the discounted price if you sign up there and then.

I had two windows replaced and am very happy with the quality and the service. Wes and team were very helpful and responsive via email, clearly explaining the product and the installation process. It was also the best value I found after getting a few quotes. Very happy and would use again.

Great business - I had a small problem with a dropped window (not installed by them) - Andy came out quickly - was polite and efficient and the job was sorted that morning. I would happily use them again and recommend to all.

After receiving several quotes from various firms I decided to go with GR Window and Door because of their competitive prices and the fact that I could check the quality and design at their retail premises.

The manner of the salesperson who gave the initial quote was informative, and friendly. At no point did I feel pressured.

The fitting of the windows was very professional. Andy and his team were conscientious workers and took pride in what they do. Their work was of a very high standard. They worked steadily and kept me informed along the way. They cleaned up after themselves. When the job was completed Andy noticed a scratch on one of the panes of glass ( I would never have noticed it was so small) the pane of glass was ordered and replaced promptly. I was impressed by their integrity.

This company was a pleasure to deal with and I would definably recommend them. I will be needing doors replaced in the near future and will absolutely use this company again.
