GR Window and doors carried out a replacement of my front door.

I attended their office at Stenhouse Cross and was given good advice on picking a new door.

Communication by email was excellent in arranging an appointment to measure up , for keeping me informed of the order and fitting status.

On the day the fitters turned up when they said they would and carried out a fantastic job.
I would highly recommend the service they provide which was very professional and hassle free.

Last August the GR team arrived to fit new double glazing to the front windows of my tenement flat and to refurbish the windows to the back. The work was completed in 2 days to a very good standard by 3 hard working, efficient and friendly workmen. Some minor remedial work has recently needed done and one of the workmen arrived within 2 days of me getting in touch with the firm to carry out the job. I have been very impressed and would not hesitate to recommend this firm.

Graeme and his team carried out UPVC window replacement at several of our existing clients homes and businesses. Graeme takes great pride in his finishes and ensures that the customer gets his full undivided attention from start to finish. An excellent service all round and good value for money.

I would thoroughly recommend GR Services to anyone. We have just had a patio door put in and the quality of work is second to none. The door and installation is value for money, I found the company easy to do business with, they arrived on time, cleaned as they went, got rid of all bricks and rubble, installed the door, put up dust sheets so there was minimal mess internally and tidied up externally to the point I did not have to do anything. The guys that came were excellent, really nice and worked hard. The job is fantastic and it has transformed our living area. We could not be happier with the end result. I will be asking them back to fix my windows next!!

I had a double glazed window replaced. The service received was great - from the initial contact to providing an estimate of the cost and likely timescale through to completion of the work. The guys turned up when they said they would and were polite and personable. I’d definitely use GR Services again and have already recommended to friends.

Excellent professional and reasonable service. Having been the victim of cowboys in the past, I think it is fantastic that we have a list of traders who have been vetted. The guys did a professional job. Were prompt and extremely reliable and also reasonable. I only wish I had known about them earlier. Would highly recommend.

We just had most of the windows in our house replaced and installed by GR window. It was quite a big job as there were quite a few windows to replace but the GR team have provided professional approach from start to finish - from all our emails and queries to the office ( Wes was very patient thank you !) to the actual window fitting. The final finish is great, the windows themselves look really nice and the house already feels less draughty. The team worked really hard, got the job done in good time, tidied up, took all the rubbish away and were all very cheerful. We had one ‘fleck’ in one of the windows , but a new one is already on order and will be fitted shortly. Great job. Thank you GR Windows we will definitely recommend you and use you again ...

Graeme and his team installed our two new sky lanterns which replaced old Victorian cupolas on our top roof, doing this very professionally. Definitely recommended.

Graeme quoted a great price for the job and was able to do it swiftly and his team worked efficiently. I have already contracted for him to do another job for me.

This is the second time i have used GR windows and door specialists. We have just three large windows put into our family room. Excellent fitting. All very neat and well finished. I would recommend these workers to anyone and will definitely use the company again.

Had windows fitted a few months ago and should have left a comment then but a terrible experience with a different contractor hightlighted how important good feedback is for the people who do a good job. Really nice people (when I saw them because I was working most of the time they were in)! They were so quiet and left so little mess that when the job was finished and I came home from work it took me a while to realise that I had sparkling new windows! Really efficent, cost effectice and communicated really well (although very little was required with everything going so smoothly!). I felt safe and at ease with having them into the property (I live alone) as the gentleman doing the quote was really nice and genuine.

Having seen a neighbour’s windows and door done by GR we decided to use them for our property. We received a very good quote and decided to go with them. The fitting team were excellent and carried out the work in a professional manner, the site was kept clean and tidy at all times, We were very satisfied with the windows and door GR supplied and fitted for us. The shower room window in my new flat was replaced with a double glazed opaque window. Since the design I chose was a bit unusual it took some effort to arrange.
The people at G-R were always helpful and I am delighted with the result.

GR Window & Door Specialists did a great job and I was particularly impressed with Andy’s honesty regarding the condition of my windows and the time he took to explain the work required to improve them and extend their life as well as answering my many questions. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their window repair services and I’m delighted that I haven’t needed to replace my windows. If only every window company operated in such an honest and helpful way, employing people who take pride in their work and actually want to do a good job instead of ripping people off by persuading them to replace windows that don't actually need replacing.

GR Window and Doors replaced all the upstairs windows, and one downstairs, which had seen better days.

After a call their surveyor came out, measured up, and gave us welcome advice on the types of windows and features that would suit our situation.

Following that visit communication by email was prompt and fitting was arranged around five weeks after placing the order.

The fitters arrived on schedule and completed the work over two days.

The fitters worked diligently and spotlessly and did a great job.

The all-round process was straightforward and we are delighted with the end result.

I couldn’t recommend them enough. They were great and very professional throughout from initial conversation and approximate quote to measuring up for the actual quote and installation. One of our windows was particularly difficult and the installation wasn’t easy but they were able to install and ensured the house was left clean and tidy.

We will definitely be using them again for any future projects.

This is an exceptional company. They are incredibly knowledgable, efficient, polite, customer service is 2nd to none, and their after care is excellent. No job is too small or too big. They have even corrected a faulty product that i had fitted by another company, with no hassle. I have now used them twice for a variety of different door and window jobs. I will be using them in the future!
