Energize Electrical was established to provide a comprehensive service to all domestic and commercial sectors.
We are trusted and reliable electricians who serve customers throughout the City of Edinburgh and the Lothians. We have extensive experience of residential and business electrical installations both large and small.
As an NICEIC approved contractor, we at Energize Electrical will always aim to put the high standards of the NICEIC into everything we do and always adhere to the highest levels of safety and perform the best quality of work possible for all our customers.
This means that our work is regularly assessed to ensure that it meets all the current regulations as well as the industry standards. It also gives our customers, reassurance and guarantees that if for any reason work does not meet the correct standard it will be corrected under the terms of the scheme.

Neil’s ongoing communication was excellent and the quotation and invoice followed through seamlessly
Campbell and Jordan turned up on the agreed date and time and quickly and efficiently set about replacing the faulty lights
My only slight reservation was that with sensor lights there are settings for time, twilight threshold and range and these were not fully explained or explored, but in fairness I sourced these items with which they were unfamiliar

Was given a same day quote and booked in for the work a week later. They did a great job fitting a few plugs in our new flat, left the walls in perfect condition and carried out the work very quickly meaning we didn't need to be without power for long. Very pleased with the communication and efficiency.

I had two over sink bathroom lighted cabinets installed. Campbell and Jordan arrived when they said they would. They were friendly, polite and respectful. They completed the work efficiently with minimum fuss and disruption.

Neil and the team were excellent. The job we had was complicated with a lot of moving parts and steps we needed. They communicated at every step and made sure our requirements were being met. Every step was talked through and we knew exactly what was going on when. This is I think the 4th time we've used Energize Electrical and would use again.

We had an old and faulty halogen downlighting system in our kitchen that we inherited from the previous owner. Energize bought it up to standard with new LED lighting, using variable light adjusting bulbs and bezels that made it a very professional job and us, very happy customers. Will certainly be using Energize again and they'll be going in the book as our Edinburgh local electricians to go to.

I used Energize Electrical for an electrical survey before a flat purchase. Communication was excellent and the survey was carried out efficiently on the agreed date and time. I got the result & quotation for remedial work very quickly and this really helped me make an informed decision about the flat purchase.

They arrived at the time they said, did the job they said they would perform at the price that was agreed. The work they performed was done with out fuss and to what appears to be a high standard. certainly nothing obvously wrong from lymans perspectie. End of the day all you can ask for with any trade is to do what they agreed to do. They certainly earn my trust.

I Contacted Energise to review our fuse box and electrics and was booked in for the following week. Campbell and Jordan arrived promptly within 5 mins of arrival time. Campbell took time to outline the process and access needed. They both worked quickly and effectively with minimal disruption. Checking everything. They removed obsolete wiring, marked clearly every cable in the fuse box for easy identification and checked all sockets were in working order. Finally the gave us a full verbal report and recommendation on further work for us to consider. Finally they cleared up and left the house as they found it. They will be my first port of call for any further electrical work needed and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Energize replaced two bathroom extractor fans for us. They communicated really well with us beforehand by email and over the phone and arranged a quote and appointment very quickly. On the day, the guys were really quick and left everything clean and tidy, we are really happy with the work they did and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them!

All done very quickly and professionally with great communication and aftercare. They came recommended my a friend and I would not hesitate to recommend them.
