I chose Energize Electrical based on their Trusted Trader reviews and was not disappointed. The communication via Neil was excellent throughout; from arranging Campbell to initially assess the work needed through to the timely arrival of Ross and Jordan to undertake the work. This involved replacing a faulty RCB for the under-floor heating in the bathroom and re-wiring the large integrated oven in the kitchen from the ring circuit to the cooker circuit (to which an integrated combi-oven was already attached) so as to avoid the ring circuit tripping when multiple appliances were used.
Ross and Jordan worked efficiently and professionally and were happy to answer any questions that I had. They completed the work in a timely manner and left the job areas clean and tidy; indeed you would never had known they had been there!
I would be happy to recommend Energize Electrical and would certainly use them again in the future. I was particularly pleased that they were willing to undertake relatively small jobs as described above and being a Trusted Trader gave me peace of mind as to the quality of the work.

The company installed an EV charger at my property a year ago but I was having some issues with the electricity supply in my house when the car was charging. After sending an email to Neil (the boss!), one of his chaps was here at 9am the next morning to take a look at the issue. This was resolved very quickly and I should point out that the issue here was user error rather than anything problematic with the initial instal. Highly recommend this business and their after sales is second to none.

We got in touch with Neil regarding an EV charger that we wanted fitted in our garage. Campbell came out to survey the property and as a result, we had issues regarding which charger would be most suitable due to potential wi-fi issues. Neil went above and beyond, contacting several manufacturers to find a solution. There was excellent communication during the whole process and Campbell installed the charger and stayed until we completed a 'test charge' with the car, he is an absolute credit to Energize Electrical. Cannot recommend this company enough and will 100% use them for anything else in the future. Thanks again to the whole team!

Mum recently had a lot of building work done prior to moving into her house. Once in her new home, she realised she wanted some extra sockets and lighting installed. I was worried this was going to involve ripping floors up, chasing walls etc. I saw the positive reviews for Energize electrical and asked them to quote. The chap came out and spoke with Mum and was very clear about what could be done, and also highlighted that they would fill any holes and that this may require a bit of painting afterwards - all fair enough. The quote seemed fair and reasonable. The guys came out and i sent Mum a note to ask how it was going. She said the guys were brilliant, friendly, tidy and efficient. Everything was completed to her complete satisfaction - there was virtually no disruption to decoration / finishes considering what had been installed. Mum advised that she was now able to use her electric recliner chair and have her table lamp on at the same time - so that means i get a quiet life :-) Would not hesitate to recommend and will definitely use again. It feels like a relief to have a reliable electrician whom we can use for other jobs in the future

From first contact, through quote and completion of the work, Neil and team were easy to work with – professional service with excellent customer service.
Clear and consistent communication, answering all my queries. I was also impressed by how tidy the team were, using dust sheets and cleaning up after the work. Installation was top quality, with the team doing lots of testing and keeping me informed throughout the day of the work.
Furthermore, there were no hidden charges – the quoted cost was the end price.
I have already noticed a decrease in the level of condensation, and the fans are generally quite quiet.

Energize Electrical have recently completed the installation of an EV charger for me. From the off, Neil was quick to respond to give me a call and was happy to suggest potential options for me based on the setup I have in my new-build property. A site survey was organised and installation date for the Simpson & Partners charger quickly followed.
The installation was completed by Ross, Campbell and Jordan who were all very friendly and explained clearly what was being done. They even pointed out and fixed a few issues with the electrical installation left behind by the builder!
All the work was done professionally and without fuss or mess. It was a pleasure to have the team in the house and I will definitely be using them again for any future electrical work in the house.

I had a Simpson EV charger installed last week and Neil and the team have been superb. The whole process from the initial contact form, proving photos to ensure charger would work in my home, ordering (and configuring!) charger and being supported with questions I had, I really cannot fault.
I'm extremely happy with the end result, charger looks and works great! I'd have no hesitation at all to recommend these guys, would definitely be using again.

Energize were recommended by the dealers of my electric van. From the moment of the initial enquiry they had good communication including giving me information on the government grant and the site visit was professional and informative.
The Simpson car charger was reasonably priced and looks great on the wall and Ross did a good job. A small mark down on the communication of the car charger not being properly setup but it was easily fixed by phoning the manufacturers got this sorted so no big hassle.
Overall, really good job and as a solar and battery installation company we will be recommending them to our own customers who are looking for car chargers.

Had a new fuseboard installed as the existing was old and needing replaced for safety reasons.
Ross and Jordan did a great Job and dealing with Neil during the quote and invoicing process was a pleasure.
They turned up when they said they would and even managed to squeeze me in early when I had an issue with some faulty sockets.

On the initial survey it was identified our electrical supply was looped with our neighbour's, Neil sorted that out which took a fair bit of time (months) thanks to Scottish Power and their subcontractors, but Neil checked in to make sure things were progressing and went well. When that was all done, we were booked in quickly.
On installation day, all work was carried out quickly and professionally by Campbell and colleague, with Neil checking in a couple of hours later.
Really happy with the work and will be calling on Neil and team again in the future for any electrical work and I recommend you do too.

Ring main failure which took out all appliances and central heating.
I found the Energize team easy to contact and Neil responded immediately to the emergency in my home. A same day visit was arranged which was extremely helpful . The electrician who undertook the work was very knowledgeable and efficient in effecting the repair. I would not hesitate to use the company again nor to recommend them.
