We are trusted and reliable electricians who serve customers throughout the City of Edinburgh and the Lothians. We have extensive experience of residential and business electrical installations both large and small.
As an NICEIC approved contractor, we at Energize Electrical will always aim to put the high standards of the NICEIC into everything we do and always adhere to the highest levels of safety and perform the best quality of work possible for all our customers.
This means that our work is regularly assessed to ensure that it meets all the current regulations as well as the industry standards. It also gives our customers, reassurance and guarantees that if for any reason work does not meet the correct standard it will be corrected under the terms of the scheme.
We will constantly develop and enhance our skills with up-to-the-minute industry information to ensure that we’re able to apply maximum expertise to every project that we are part of. Installed an oven plus hob which required a new 32A circuit from the consumer unit. Excellent communication from the initial site survey through to the installation. The work was carried out on schedule and to a high standard.

After a Trusted Trader search for an Electrician and at short notice, Energize Electrical Ltd. made themselves available to perform an EICR and Consumer Unit renewal at a private residential rental property that I manage. The initial, lead-up and closing communication with the firm was excellent. I know enough about domestic electrical systems to be a "know-it-all" customer. This knowledge was welcomed by Energize Electrical Ltd. and, as a result, we worked well together. The Electrician that attended to the job was pleasant and respectful to the property and the tenants within. The job was completed as advised it would and the end result was neat. I have since, with confidence, booked Energize Electrical Ltd. to repeat the job in another property I manage.

Thoroughly professional job completed by Campbell, Ross and Jason who cleaned up afterwards and who were a pleasure to have in the house. Work undertaken represented excellent value for money.

Call out issue with a charger. Neil followed up with telephone call to ensure I knew what issues were and then surveyor called and resolved the issue straight away. Polite and efficient highly recommend them.

I had a bathroom light switch pull-chord and light switch base replaced by Energize Electrical Ltd, Clermiston, after it snapped and broke and they provided an excellent service on all fronts.
They were easy to communicate with, quick to assess the nature of our needs, source the products, respond to our deadlines, follow up with us reliably every step of the way and delivered a first class service and product on time and at a more competitive price than other local electricians. A high standard service providing value for money. I highly recommend them and dealing with Neil.

Had a very pleasant experience from start to finish. Neil responded really quickly following my initial enquiry regarding installing an EV charger and from there the process was quite easy to understand. The initial site visit was arranged same day and Campbell was very good and informative and gave me good information on which charger to go with. Prior to installing, Neil kept me informed on any updates or changes and the installation was completed by Ross as scheduled (even though the weather was really bad that day). Very impressed overall and also very happy with the charger. The whole process has been simple and seamless.

Excellent communication and exceptional customer service from start to finish.
We were aware we required more than a standard installation but the entire team went out of their way to ensure they found a solution and completed the work to the highest of standards.

Energize installed an electric vehicle charging point at our home. Overall we were extremely pleased with the service. Neil was extremely responsive - always checking we understood what was happening and when, explaining the options and approach. Installing illuminated bathroom cabinets and an outside light. Other previous work includes an electrical safety check and installing a car charging point. We continue to use Energize as the team is customer focussed, polite and respectful as well as neat and tidy. We don’t even bother to seek other quotes as Energize is now our “go to” provider.

Second time I have used Energize and they were as excellent as the first. I needed 3 extra sockets fitted in different rooms. They came round to assess the options and to ensure I was happy with what they recommended. They were hugely responsive and completed the work to a. very high quality very soon after I made the initial enquiry. Highly recommend.
