Energize Electrical was established to provide a comprehensive service to all domestic and commercial sectors.
We are trusted and reliable electricians who serve customers throughout the City of Edinburgh and the Lothians. We have extensive experience of residential and business electrical installations both large and small.
As an NICEIC approved contractor, we at Energize Electrical will always aim to put the high standards of the NICEIC into everything we do and always adhere to the highest levels of safety and perform the best quality of work possible for all our customers.
This means that our work is regularly assessed to ensure that it meets all the current regulations as well as the industry standards. It also gives our customers, reassurance and guarantees that if for any reason work does not meet the correct standard it will be corrected under the terms of the scheme.

From start to finish the communication and workmanship from the guys at Energize was top notch. I have used several electricians in Edinburgh and it's so reassuring to have finally found people who turn up when they say they will, take pride in their work and charge a reasonable rate for doing so. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for electrical works in Edinburgh

Great experience with installation of EV charger at home - Prompt response , thorough site visit and gave great advice on a grant that could be claimed, the best type of charger and how best to accommodate a fitting in the best location on outside of house - Neil was quick to respond and follow up and Jordan did a great job on the day - would wholeheartedly recommend

I have previously used this company to supply and fit an EV charger at home but I just used them again to supply and fit an outdoor double power socket. Could not recommend more highly for any electrical work. They arrive on time, understand the job requirements, do the work to an incredibly high standard and charge a fair price. No mess is left.

We needed a new supply to our oven and an additional socket. Energize arrived promptly and did the work quickly and efficiently, cleaning up thoroughly afterwards. This is the second time we have used them and will happily use them again.

Excellent service from start to finish. I had an EV charger installed at my home and couldn’t be happier with the result. The whole process felt personal and professional throughout, clear communication, no hassle, and everything explained along the way.
The electrician, Jordan who carried out the installation was fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly took real pride in his work. The finished job is neat, tidy and of a really high standard.
Highly recommend Energize Electricsl to anyone looking for a reliable, quality electrician. Will definitely be using them again for any future work.

Energize carried out three pieces of work including replacing an out of date consumer unit. After having to change our appointment due to another job over-running (which we were kept informed about) they arrived on the dot and carried out our work quickly and efficiently. They were also very good at keeping the work areas clean which was most appreciated. We have already booked them for further work.

I am very happy with the service I received. This may be the most efficient company I have ever dealt with. I called up in the morning and they managed to fit me in later that day. The communication was excellent. I had an electronic quote within a matter of minutes and then a confirmation of my booking as soon as I accepted it. Jordan, who came to fix the fault, was so polite and helpful. I would definitely recommend this company and will use them again. Very impressed.

I recently used Energize Electrical to upgrade my fuse board, install fire-rated downlights throughout the property, and carry out an EICR inspection. From start to finish, the service was professional, efficient, and well organised.
The team took the time to explain the work required, completed everything to a high standard, and left the property clean and tidy when finished. The fuse board upgrade and new fire-rated downlights were installed neatly, and the EICR report was provided promptly with clear explanations of any findings.
Communication was excellent throughout, and the work was completed on schedule with minimal disruption. I would have no hesitation in recommending Energize Electrical to anyone looking for reliable, knowledgeable electricians and quality workmanship.

Neil at Energize was very easy to deal with - responsive, knowledgeable and helpful. The electrician who attended was also very good, understood the problem and identified what needed to be done. And then did the job well. Everything you need from someone providing a service that you have no expertise in. They'll be on my list of contractors from here.

The team at energize were easy to get in touch with, and we were able to get the work booked in within the week, and the subsequent remediation work booked in the week after. They sent a quote upfront, and the pricing was fair
