Energize Electrical was established to provide a comprehensive service to all domestic and commercial sectors.
We are trusted and reliable electricians who serve customers throughout the City of Edinburgh and the Lothians. We have extensive experience of residential and business electrical installations both large and small.
As an NICEIC approved contractor, we at Energize Electrical will always aim to put the high standards of the NICEIC into everything we do and always adhere to the highest levels of safety and perform the best quality of work possible for all our customers.
This means that our work is regularly assessed to ensure that it meets all the current regulations as well as the industry standards. It also gives our customers, reassurance and guarantees that if for any reason work does not meet the correct standard it will be corrected under the terms of the scheme.

Excellent all round. Sensible advice, good value quote, tidy and pleasant electricians and easy communication to plan work date and time. Follow up call to ensure we were happy with the work.

I can’t recommend this business more highly.
The customer service I received for my electrical safety certificate was extremely valuable. They provided an accurate quote for me to approve. They turned up exactly when they said they were going to got the job done quickly. And came back with the recommended changes which they also completed for me to a very satisfactory standard. They answered my calls with questions to provide extra support after the job was completed.

Various power and lighting additions and modifications throughout the house, all done to a very good standard. Biggest positive was the communication with Neil and his team who carried out the works. Showed up exactly when they said they would and completed the job in good time.

Neil and team were excellent. I got a call back immediately after submitting an inquiry and was able to book an appointment with short notice for getting an exhaust fan replaced in our main bathroom. The guys who came on the day were super friendly and did a great job. Will definitely use again.

Neil and his team were very quick and efficient to respond to my initial query. Initally it was beeping smoke alarm (which needed replaced) and i added additional jobs of fixing a spotlight and extractor fan in bathroom. All 3 jobs done in 40mins.
Campbell was great at answering all my queries and plans for future jobs! Have already reccomended these guys to a friend after today!

I have used Energize Electrical a couple of years ago, when they installed some garden lights and they recently replaced a downlighter for me. I couldn't recommend them highly enough. The service is just superb, from receiving a quick quote, arranging an appointment for the work to be carried out, turning up at the agreed time, professional work and follow up telephone call to ensure that I was happy with the work. I will certainly use them again for any electrical work I require.

I needed an EICR for my rental property at short notice. Energize were the first to come back to me with a quote, a date, and friendly advice. They explained the need for follow up work to be done and clearly laid out the components on the follow up quote. At the second visit (at which I was present), the engineers were very prompt, polite and explained throughout what was happening. This is important for times when a tenant has to deal with them and not me.
Very happy to have worked with them and will certainly do so again either for my rental or home properties.

We had previously hoped to get a small job completed by Energize Electrical, however quickly after getting someone to come in to provide a quote, we found that our fuse box had to be upgraded prior to being able to carry this out, and we needed some rewiring completed too. Neil, Campbell, and their team were professional and friendly from start to end. They were transparent in their costings (no hidden extras) and continuously checked in throughout work being completed to ensure we were happy with the work and comfortable with the tradespeople.
Finding tradespeople who you trust, especially with moving into a new home/area, can be a bit of a minefield. From start to end, we trusted the folk in. They explained everything in full, encouraged questions, and didn’t make you feel silly for asking for overexplanations of the work!
We would, in a heartbeat, use this team again for further electrical work and other services. Thanks again!

The team at Energize Electrical have done an amazing job upgrading our stair lighting to LED making it both brighter, cheaper to run and energy efficient. With a new timeclock added and new lighting our stair lights now come on at correct times and all come on together fixing problems we were having with them beforehand. Would recommend this company if you ever have any jobs needing done.
