Energize Electrical was established to provide a comprehensive service to all domestic and commercial sectors.
We are trusted and reliable electricians who serve customers throughout the City of Edinburgh and the Lothians. We have extensive experience of residential and business electrical installations both large and small.
As an NICEIC approved contractor, we at Energize Electrical will always aim to put the high standards of the NICEIC into everything we do and always adhere to the highest levels of safety and perform the best quality of work possible for all our customers.

We have had an EV charger installed at home.
We have had excellent customer service throughout the whole process. From the initial contact with Neil, regarding the process of installation. Neil kept me up to date throughout the whole process. The assessment from his colleague, Campbell, again going over the requirements. To the fitting of our charger by Jordan, absolute professional. Jordan gave me a tour of his work, explained what this had entailed, and how to look after and operate the charger. Tidy work, absolutely no mess for me to clear up.
Absolute pleasure to have met such an excellent group of people. I would have no hesitation in recommending Energise Electrical.

This was the second time we have used Energise and again very happy with the service. The job was to complete electrical fit of underfloor heating matt, including adding a fuse a spur, and adding new 2 gang switch for light and mirror in same bathroom.
Communication by Neil was excellent both before and after the job, and the main on scene contractor (Campbell) was punctual, polite and took care to ensure the job was well done.
No complaints and would certainly recommend.

We wanted an Andersen Quartz EV charger supplied & installed. From the initial enquiry we were kept informed. After quickly arranging to view the job, a detailed quote was provided and Neil did all the checks with the network operator. Campbell and Jordan took a morning to do the installation and we needed a dedicated EV board. Really neat job with cabling running under our floor. Left the paperwork for us to register for the 7 year warranty. Followed up to check we were happy with the job. Would use Energize again for electrical work and recommend to family & friends.

We had a complete rewire of a flat. A site survey was carried out prior to starting we had a positive discussion on the options available and were provided with ideas and suggestions which was great The work was completed in a timely manner, if there additional costs we were notified immediately, I can’t fault their customer communication or the standard of workmanship, both were excellent. They left the property clean & tidy each day. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

I had an EV charger installed by Energize Electrical and I'm really happy with the service. Excellent communication throughout, and they were flexible with scheduling. The install itself took just a couple of hours while I was at work — everything was ready, clean, and tidy by the time I got home. I also used the OZEV grant for the installation, and Neil was really helpful with the process — my application was approved and I received the grant within a week, with no issues whatsoever. Price was reasonable and competitive too. Very professional staff, and I'd definitely use them again.

From start to finish the communication and workmanship from the guys at Energize was top notch. I have used several electricians in Edinburgh and it's so reassuring to have finally found people who turn up when they say they will, take pride in their work and charge a reasonable rate for doing so. Great experience with installation of EV charger at home - Prompt response , thorough site visit and gave great advice on a grant that could be claimed, the best type of charger and how best to accommodate a fitting in the best location on outside of house - Neil was quick to respond and follow up and Jordan did a great job on the day - would wholeheartedly recommend

I have previously used this company to supply and fit an EV charger at home but I just used them again to supply and fit an outdoor double power socket. Could not recommend more highly for any electrical work. They arrive on time, understand the job requirements, do the work to an incredibly high standard and charge a fair price. No mess is left.
