Energize Electrical was established to provide a comprehensive service to all domestic, commercial and industrial sectors.
We are trusted and reliable electricians who serve customers throughout the City of Edinburgh and the Lothians. We have extensive experience of residential and business electrical installations both large and small.
As an NICEIC approved contractor, we at Energize Electrical will always aim to put the high standards of the NICEIC into everything we do and always adhere to the highest levels of safety and perform the best quality of work possible for all our customers.
This means that our work is regularly assessed to ensure that it meets all the current regulations as well as the industry standards. It also gives our customers, reassurance and guarantees that if for any reason work does not meet the correct standard it will be corrected under the terms of the scheme.

Installation of a spur in a utility room - a straightforward job which I needed done in a hurry. Neil and Campbell were extremely professional and helpful throughout, from initial contact through to rapid completion of the work to a high standard. I would not hesitate to use their services again.

A great company who provided an excellent service! They communicated extremely well (which is unheard of amongst most trades people) and would even let us know if they were running 30 mins late. They also helped us select our ev charger based on our requirements.
I know we will contact them again for other work we have in the pipeline.

Had a cooker hood taken out and a new one installed - really liked the way they work. They came and had a look before they quoted, which gave me confidence they knew what they were taking on. The price was reasonable for what they had to do and very happy with the way they conducted themselves before, during and after the install. Not the cheapest, but glad I went with them, not the cheaper option.

After working my way down the Tesla list of approved installers sorted by distance from home and not getting any response from the first 5 companies, Neil from Energize quickly got back to me and arranged a time to do a visit to the house then install a charging point for the car. Communications were spot on and Campbell arrived to do the installation exactly on time. Great people to deal with and a first class job overall. It wasn't cheap but still gets 5 stars across the board for the highest quality of customer service and workmanship.

They say things go in threes and the failure of the water heater at Dad’s meant I didn’t hesitate to call Energize Electrical for the third time in as many months.

I said in a recent review that I would not hesitate to use Energize Electrical again -and I didn’t.
It was a small thing and something I didn’t realise I wanted when getting work done two weeks ago but Neil and Campbell responded quickly to my call, arranged for a timeous appointment to do the job and did what was needed without fuss. Very positive.

Campbell at Energize was excellent from start to finish. The job was running electricity from our house to a new garden office. He was very clear and prompt with his communications throughout. Efficient and methodical in his preparation and work on the day of the installation. Delighted with the result and would happily recommend again.

I had an EV charger fitted to the front of my house. Very helpful and efficient technical staff at the actual install on-site. Good support too from the company admin when unexpected issues arose with the install – they were very quick to get back to me whenever I contacted them.

I turned to Trusted Trader and chose Energize Electrical from their feedback as I needed someone who would be reliable and advise my Dad and I on the best option.
Neil was very clear in his advice and Campbell arrived for a quote as arranged.
All communications were professional and personable, both by email and phone.
They were not put-out and we’re flexible as things had to be rearranged due to changes in personal circumstances.
Campbell and Jordan took all old heaters away, installed 3 electric radiators and a heated towel rail, ensuring each was operating and set with date/time ready for me to programme. Their work was neat and tidy. There was no mess left at all and Neil followed up with a phone call to ensure everything was satisfactory.
I would not hesitate to use them again in the future as their price was competitive, their work was excellent, their approach was courteous and professional thought-out what was a clear and transparent process.

We required a light fixed in our Animal Receiving Centre Vet room fixed urgently due to an upcoming audit as it had stopped working unexpectedly last week.
After making the enquiry on Trusted Trader Neil was quick to contact me to discuss the details and to organize an initial inspection of the fitting before then quoting me to replace the strip light.
Once the quote was received we quickly okayed the work and Neil organized his colleague Collin to attend our site the next afternoon to complete the work in plenty of time for our Audit.
Once Collin arrived the next day he quickly got to work on the light to discover that it did not require as much work as initially thought meaning the light was fixed for much cheaper than originally quoted for..
I would highly recommend this business as the friendly communication, quick response time for both organizing the initial appointment and receiving the quote was outstanding. I would recommend this business to anyone !

Installed a new 7 way fuse board and carried out various repairs - eg replacement pendant.
Campbell arrived when he had arranged to do so, tidied up when finished and gave good feedback once the job was complete ( this also included a recommendation to contact Scottish Power). He was professional and polite at all times.
I would use this company again and would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family .
