Energize Electrical was established to provide a comprehensive service to all domestic and commercial sectors.
We are trusted and reliable electricians who serve customers throughout the City of Edinburgh and the Lothians. We have extensive experience of residential and business electrical installations both large and small.
As an NICEIC approved contractor, we at Energize Electrical will always aim to put the high standards of the NICEIC into everything we do and always adhere to the highest levels of safety and perform the best quality of work possible for all our customers.
This means that our work is regularly assessed to ensure that it meets all the current regulations as well as the industry standards. It also gives our customers, reassurance and guarantees that if for any reason work does not meet the correct standard it will be corrected under the terms of the scheme.

We have had a number of jobs recently completed by Energize - sockets in the attic, an outdoor socket, extractor fan install. Campbell and Jordan were great - always on time, friendly, helpful, very tidy and good at explaining what was being done - we also found the costs to be very reasonable. Neil was great on the admin side and making sure we were happy with the work and it was arranged at a time that suited us- a great company to deal with and one we will definitely be using again.

I highly recommend Energize Electrical. I had an EV charger installed and every aspect of the installation from contacting my electrical supplier, sourcing the charger and completing the work was done very quickly and effectively. The cost was bang on and to top it off they are really nice to deal with.

Can’t thank Campbell and Neil for all their help with my first flat! They responded to my enquiry, came out and viewed what work was to be carried out and carried out the work so quickly! They made the process so easy for myself and kept me in the loop with everything. Excellent service, I couldn't fault it. Owner of the business provided excellent service buy contacting me after my car charger was installed to make sure that everything was fine and that I was happy he was also contacting me on daily basis with an updates prior to the work being carried out. The team that attended to install the charger did a great job. Highly recomended. Fast and offcient professional advice given.

I requested a replacement of a faulty garden flood light. The whole experience is of top quality. The communication with Neil is clear and all responses are professional, informational and fast. All the workers are professional and give me details information and choices and they are able to suit my tight and continue switching schedule requirements. Campbell and Jordan were a pleasure to have in the house. Campbell kept me informed of everything he was doing with regards to putting a new socket in a cupboard and also the replacement dimmer switch in the living room. Jordan unpacked and assisted with fitting the ceiling lights in the living room.

It was a good job fitting Tesla wall connector. Had appointment made, job was well explained, connector was mounted to the side of the house, cables were neatly run through the wall with accurate wiring around switchboard. Happy, would recommend! Thank you!

Energize Electrical replaced the elements in my electric hot water tank. It's a relatively small job that could have been difficult to find a reliable company to quote for or do. From the first time I contacted them, the communication was great, they responded quickly with a quote and managed to fit the job in at short notice at a time that suited me. The work was completed professionally and to a high standard. They were courteous and friendly throughout completion of the job and I don't have a critical word for them. I would definitely use the company again and have already recommended them to a colleague. Thanks again

We had a few ceiling lights relocated and split. I appreciate that they make sure every step is done correctly and properly instead of rushing to finish it. We're totally satisfied with the results. Everything is exactly where they should be and now we have two beautiful low hanging tiffany lights above the dinning table to enhance the mood like a 100 times.

Start to finish a great experience. My query via the website was answered promptly, within a couple of days the guys came round to scope out the job and sent me a quote through same day, then came back to do the work a couple of days later. They arrived when they said they would, cleaned up after themselves and carried out the job to a very high standard. Communication and professionalism throughout was spot on and will certainly be using again

We had old electrical storage heaters replaced with new efficient wall mounted heaters. The whole process was fast, efficient and friendly from initial contact with the firm, through quotation and installation. The firm helped to provide heaters which covered the original footprint of the old heaters thus eliminating the necessity to redecorate. Following installation the firm ensured we were happy.

I recently had an EV charger installed by Energize Electrical. I had previously been told by another electrician that the supply would have to be routed through my loft however Energize Electrical found a solution and at a much cheaper cost than I had been quoted elsewhere. The service provided was excellent - they were punctual, tidy and kept me informed throughout. Following installation I had them return to fit an outside socket. Again I was delighted with the service.

We made contact with Energize Electrical requesting a quote for an EV charger fitted at our home. We were given the quote within a day after the survey had been completed and the work was carried out in a professional and timely manor. We would happily recommend Energize to friends and family. We do not have our new car as yet so cannot comment on the performance of the charger.
