Energize Electrical was established to provide a comprehensive service to all domestic, commercial and industrial sectors.
We are trusted and reliable electricians who serve customers throughout the City of Edinburgh and the Lothians. We have extensive experience of residential and business electrical installations both large and small.
As an NICEIC approved contractor, we at Energize Electrical will always aim to put the high standards of the NICEIC into everything we do and always adhere to the highest levels of safety and perform the best quality of work possible for all our customers.
This means that our work is regularly assessed to ensure that it meets all the current regulations as well as the industry standards. It also gives our customers, reassurance and guarantees that if for any reason work does not meet the correct standard it will be corrected under the terms of the scheme.
We will constantly develop and enhance our skills with up-to-the-minute industry information to ensure that we’re able to apply maximum expertise to every project that we are part of. Neil and team at Energize Electrical were highly efficient and professional with all the work that needed to be carried out in our home. There was a lot to be done and Neil kept us regularly updated with the progress and timeframe of work, so we always knew what was happening. We are delighted and reassured that we now have a safe and fully tested electrics in our home.

Excellent work and service again from Neil and his team. Kept up to date on exact arrival timings/changes in the run-up to the appointment. Ross fitted a new fuse board, outside light and various other jobs as part of our EICR - all within the scheduled time. Highly recommend.

The work was carried out by Ross an approved electrician employed by Energize Electrical. Ross is polite, friendly, efficient and customer focussed. On some of the visits he was accompanied by Jordan who is an apprentice and also a polite and friendly member of the team. The work is coordinated by Neil who is in dialogue with the customer in an open, friendly and has a good communication manner.
Energize Electrical is a very efficient, trusted and customer friendly company which I would recommend and which I will use going forward

We had our electrics checked for an EICR certificate. Neil was very good at contacting us regularly to update us on quotes and appointments and Ross did a thorough job, came when he was supposed to and was polite and respectful.

Great work from Neil & team (Ross for us). Communication great throughout, Neil reached out consistently before and after job and answered lots of questions, helped identify best solution for us for installation of a bathroom extractor fan. Job ended up being a little tougher than expected, Ross did a great job and spent all day getting it done. Great value for money both for workmanship & overall service. Will definitely be using Energize Electrical again & would recommend to anyone.

We needed some ceiling lights moved, a new ceiling light added, and a new socket in our hallway. Our timescales were quite tight, but Energize did their best to accommodate us so that it would tie in with our plasterer. This was much appreciated. Ross was allocated our job and he arrived when he said he would and carried out the job to a high standard. From the initial chat with Neil, to Campbell coming round to assess the job, then Ross completing the job, Energize Electrical were a pleasure to deal with. Very professional, good communications, efficient, and left the house as they found it. We have no hesitation in recommending them and will definitely choose them for all future works.

We had an EICR performed on a large 1930s flat, and the electrician from Energize arrived promptly, was very professional, and gave us a fair assessment of the overall condition of the electrics when he finished the job. A written report with a very reasonable estimate to undertake necessary repairs was provided in a timely way. Will be having Energize back out to quote for additional upgrades as well as the repairs recommended on the EICR.

We had Energize Electrical install a series of recessed downlights in our hallway. We were very happy with the work they did and will have them back to do further work we have planned in the future.
After contacting them via Trusted Trader, they were quick to arrange a visit, stressing that they don't provide quotes without one (something that none of the others we contacted did). I felt assured after the visit that they knew exactly what was involved in the job.
After discussing the job, they sent me several quotes for different options, clearly explaining what was involved in each. Their pricing was fair and, unlike other quotes we received, included minor decorative repair work.
On the day, they arrived on time and discussed the work with us before proceeding. They carried out the job quickly and professionally, taking additional steps to minimise the visibility of the work. We were happy with the repair work that was done, and they cleaned properly after the job.

We had an EV wallbox fitted to the house. Neil explained the options to us and made recommendations as to which device and options to include. Very professional company. Communications are excellent throughout the engagement and the completed work itself being of high quality and left very tidy after it had completed. Definitely recommend this company if you need an EV wallbox fitted and I would use them again for any future electrical work.

I called two other companies - one never got back to me and the other took 3 weeks to reply? But Energise responded straight-away!
Neil was hugely attentive in answering my questions and addressing my concerns. His team were courteous and professional, installing the exterior security lighting both creatively and discreetly.
