Energize Electrical was established to provide a comprehensive service to all domestic, commercial and industrial sectors.
We are trusted and reliable electricians who serve customers throughout the City of Edinburgh and the Lothians. We have extensive experience of residential and business electrical installations both large and small.
As an NICEIC approved contractor, we at Energize Electrical will always aim to put the high standards of the NICEIC into everything we do and always adhere to the highest levels of safety and perform the best quality of work possible for all our customers.
This means that our work is regularly assessed to ensure that it meets all the current regulations as well as the industry standards. It also gives our customers, reassurance and guarantees that if for any reason work does not meet the correct standard it will be corrected under the terms of the scheme.

Energize Electrical installed an extraction fan in a utility and lighting in the roofspace. First class service from start to finish from Neil and Campbell. Excellent level of communication and customer service. The job was done to a very high standard, including cleaning up afterwards. Very happy with Energize and would certainly use again and recommend to family and friends. My best experience ever of dealing with an electrician. Thank you.

I had to do an EICR test for our house. Neil and his team was quick to respond and done a job on very tight timeline.
He's a great communicator and gave us plenty of very practical, valuable advice. The team showed up at agreed time and done the work promptly.

Neil and the team installed a new EV charger at the house and from the outset, and in so many ways, the service was excellent. Neil responded really quickly to my initial enquiry and provided lots of information as to what he needed to know from our end. Their system for EV enquiries was also so easy to use, especially for someone who knows nothing about electrical stuff. They were great at getting someone on site asap to do a quote and then install. On the day of install, I received a phone call to say that Campbell was running late, which was a nice touch as many people just wouldn't phone at all. Neil has really nailed the customer service aspect of his business and I would highly recommend their services.

I've recently bought my first flat and wanted to obtain an EICR for my peace of mind. Campbell arrived after 5pm after a tough scheduling between myself and Energize Electrical and carried out the check quickly and professionally. He pointed out several serious issues with the electricals and gave good advice on what remedies were available to me. Neil followed up the next day to check that I was satisfied with the service and with further advice and a quote on remedial work. I will absolutely be using these guys for future electrical needs, cracking service and professionalism.

We had an EV charging point installed at our house. From the outset Neil and the team were absolutely first class. They were very prompt in responding to my initial enquiry, and provided valued guidance on the various options to consider as well as what was involved in the installation process itself. My car delivery was unexpectedly brought forward with only 2 weeks notice of delivery, but Energize Electrical pulled out all the stops and managed to fully install the EV charging point within that timescale. The actual installation process itself was flawless, they turned up on time, the installation was exactly as they had explained, and nothing was a problem to them (including crawling through awkward and tight basement spaces). They are without doubt the best electricians I have used, their customer service and quality of work is outstanding and they are now my first port of call for any and all electrical work. Highly recommended.

A problem with our white meter heating, Neil called me back within the hour, organised one of their electricians to come first thing the following morning and had the problem resolved in no time at all. From my initial query, I received a swift response and communication to discuss my requirements. After a site visit, I quickly received a quote for the works. The works, were undertaken by Campbell who was excellent to deal with polite and professional, I wasn’t even aware he was in the house undertaking the works.
The quality of work and explanation of works undertaken was first class.
Would have no hesitation using again or recommending. It was refreshing to deal with a construction company who were so professional. The communication from company is excellent and more akin to dealing with Amazon than a electrical contractor.
