Energize Electrical was established to provide a comprehensive service to all domestic, commercial and industrial sectors.
We are trusted and reliable electricians who serve customers throughout the City of Edinburgh and the Lothians. We have extensive experience of residential and business electrical installations both large and small.
As an NICEIC approved contractor, we at Energize Electrical will always aim to put the high standards of the NICEIC into everything we do and always adhere to the highest levels of safety and perform the best quality of work possible for all our customers.

I had a ceiling plastered and new lighting fitted in April 2023 and am very happy with the results and cost. Campbell, Ross and Jordan did a brilliant job in tough conditions, and went the extra mile with testing. I recommend and will definitely use Energize again in future.

EV charger installed at home. Initial survey and planning was very smooth. Neil explained everything that needed to be done, asked for some photos where the EV charger was going to be installed and organised initial survey promptly. Campbell and Jordan were the installers and they both arrived promptly on time, worked very efficiently, cleaned up after themselves and showed me all the work they have completed at the end. The whole process took 3 weeks and the EV charger was installed 2 days after I brought the electric car home)

This review is related to the second job Energize has carried out for me and it was easy to use them again as the previous job was also carried out smoothly at the date promised and to the agreed price. I have found the people in the business good to deal with as they all communicate well with suitable advice pre order. Ross and Jordon worked very efficiently, and were happy to answer any queries had.
Very pleased with the standard of their work, and their friendly, helpful manner.

Not having any knowledge of car charging units myself, the team were superb at providing information on units available and best method for installing after a survey of my property.
The unit the guys have installed is super easy to use and looks very tidy on the side of building. I opted for the un-tethered option which I am very pleased with.

Energize Electrical provided us with step by step information/guidance along the way to help achieve the best possible set-up for our requirements.
Fantastic communication throughout the process was key, we were kept up to speed at every stage. From selecting the correct charging unit, survey of property to ensure all safety standards were adhered to, installation and final sign of approval. All carried out to a very high standard.

Required some sockets to be looked at in flat. From start of job to conclusion, no problems and fault rectified! It's not often in today's environment that tradesmen answer/reply to phone calls/emails etc. And what I found a great bonus, is that they turned up when they said they would. Fantastic service, a rare find indeed!

Very quick response to initial enquiry and communication with Neil very good throughout. Job was assessed one day later with quote provided later in the day. Work started the following day. The fan wasn't straightforward as there were issues with how the original fan had been unstalled and work was required to reposition a duct with resultant gaps requiring filling. This delayed the project by a few days but Cameron returned a few days later to complete the task.
No reference point in respect of value for money as we required work done quickly and didn't seek any alternative quote. However was satisfied with and happy to pay the sum quoted.

An MOT check on the electrical works in my flat was undertaken and a report supplied of rectifications needed. The work was done competently by Campbell who arrived on time and found a nearby parking place (which is very difficult in the Westend). Communication online, text messages and by phone were all very efficient from start to finish. Thanks.
