Energize Electrical was established to provide a comprehensive service to all domestic, commercial and industrial sectors.
We are trusted and reliable electricians who serve customers throughout the City of Edinburgh and the Lothians. We have extensive experience of residential and business electrical installations both large and small.
As an NICEIC approved contractor, we at Energize Electrical will always aim to put the high standards of the NICEIC into everything we do and always adhere to the highest levels of safety and perform the best quality of work possible for all our customers.
This means that our work is regularly assessed to ensure that it meets all the current regulations as well as the industry standards. It also gives our customers, reassurance and guarantees that if for any reason work does not meet the correct standard it will be corrected under the terms of the scheme.
We will constantly develop and enhance our skills with up-to-the-minute industry information to ensure that we’re able to apply maximum expertise to every project that we are part of. I called Energize Electrical to replace my kitchen light fittings. The electrician was punctual, did an excellent job and tidied up afterwards and took away my old light fittings to dispose of them.
Within half an hour of the work being done, I got a call from the company checking that I was happy with everything. I can't recommend this company highly enough - they are excellent!

Very satisfied with my Ohme ePod EV charger installation by Energize. Neil was extremely prompt and organised with the admin and logistics from start to finish, and gave really helpful advice on choice of charger and eligibility for an OZEV grant. The survey was also done promptly and installation happened within my timescale while others were quoting several months of lead time. The cable routing was done discretely, despite it being an older building, and they also installed a three-pin outdoor socket at the same time, which will come in very handy. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Energize and would use them again going forward for any domestic electrical jobs.

Very very good customer communication and very happy with the work! The engineers are friendly and polite, explained the work thoroughly that I understood what was happening. I would definitely recommend Energize Electrical and would definitely ask them again for the future job. Thank you!

They did a great job installing an ev charger, with no fuss but also with plenty of good information before, during and after. All done tidily at agreed price, can't really ask more than that!

Really cracking service. Came in to look at some faulty lights and really went the extra bit to ensure they were the right brightness for me and that they were safer than they were before. I'd really recommend these guys for any job, even just fixing a light or two!

Energise electrical recently carried out work in practice to renew all our lights to energy efficient - the lads were friendly, the standard of workmanship was excellent. They were reliable and communication was great. Would highly recommend this firm and would definitely use them again in the future.

It turned out that the main job was resolved at my end which just left a very small job of fitting a new indoor electrical socket, job was carried out perfectly, it was a very neat job and there was no mess left at all.
They even turned up early (but checked first) and gave a smile on entering and leaving property.

Highly recommended. Prompt and efficient. Faulty bathroom extractor fan was checked and replaced within days (and would have been quicker but we were unable to change our arrangements). We used Energize before for a bigger job and will always go to Neil, Campbell and the team first.

I had several small electrical jobs which needed doing around the house. This included rewiring, changing light fixtures, fixing outdoor lights etc. Neil communicated very well throughout the process from quote to service delivery. A competitive price was agreed. The boys who carried out the work arrived on time and were very competent and respectful. I have already recommended the services of Energize Electrical to friends and family.

Neil and team at Energize Electrical were highly efficient and professional with all the work that needed to be carried out in our home. There was a lot to be done and Neil kept us regularly updated with the progress and timeframe of work, so we always knew what was happening. We are delighted and reassured that we now have a safe and fully tested electrics in our home.

Excellent work and service again from Neil and his team. Kept up to date on exact arrival timings/changes in the run-up to the appointment. Ross fitted a new fuse board, outside light and various other jobs as part of our EICR - all within the scheduled time. Highly recommend.

The work was carried out by Ross an approved electrician employed by Energize Electrical. Ross is polite, friendly, efficient and customer focussed. On some of the visits he was accompanied by Jordan who is an apprentice and also a polite and friendly member of the team. The work is coordinated by Neil who is in dialogue with the customer in an open, friendly and has a good communication manner.
Energize Electrical is a very efficient, trusted and customer friendly company which I would recommend and which I will use going forward

We had our electrics checked for an EICR certificate. Neil was very good at contacting us regularly to update us on quotes and appointments and Ross did a thorough job, came when he was supposed to and was polite and respectful.
