Energize Electrical was established to provide a comprehensive service to all domestic and commercial sectors.
We are trusted and reliable electricians who serve customers throughout the City of Edinburgh and the Lothians. We have extensive experience of residential and business electrical installations both large and small.
As an NICEIC approved contractor, we at Energize Electrical will always aim to put the high standards of the NICEIC into everything we do and always adhere to the highest levels of safety and perform the best quality of work possible for all our customers.
This means that our work is regularly assessed to ensure that it meets all the current regulations as well as the industry standards. I recently purchased an electric car in Edinburgh and the dealer recommended Energize Electrical to install my home charger. Neil at Energize was really responsive, came out same day to check over my house and advise on the install, before booking me in for a few weeks time which lined up nicely with when I got my car. The engineers arrived on time, were extremely courteous and helpful and did a great job. Delighted at the result. Would absolutely recommend Energize Electrical and will be using again in future.

Installation of a ring doorbell, following new front door existing bell was hanging off. I got contacted within one hour of my quote request and an electrician came to look at what was needed that day. Got the work done the next day. Very grateful for such quick response as I wanted the work done ASAP. Communication was excellent and the electrician who did the work was very good and he talked my husband through App set up etc. Would definitely use them again in the future.

They arranged the survey quickly, explained what needed to be done and the various options, and gave us a great quote.
The subsequent Installation was quick, neat and efficient, and we're super happy with the result.

A EV Charger was installed with the hard wiring and electric equipment installed well.
The difficulty came when it came to the App required to operate the charger, the Engineer had no idea how this worked and it was left to myself to download the App and work this out for myself, eventually having to work with the charger manufacturer to understand the workings.
This is not ideal.

We have had excellent customer service throughout the whole process. From the initial contact with Neil, regarding the process of installation. Neil kept me up to date throughout the whole process. The assessment from his colleague, Campbell, again going over the requirements. To the fitting of our charger by Jordan, absolute professional. Jordan gave me a tour of his work, explained what this had entailed, and how to look after and operate the charger. Tidy work, absolutely no mess for me to clear up.
Absolute pleasure to have met such an excellent group of people. I would have no hesitation in recommending Energise Electrical.

This was the second time we have used Energise and again very happy with the service. The job was to complete electrical fit of underfloor heating matt, including adding a fuse a spur, and adding new 2 gang switch for light and mirror in same bathroom.
Communication by Neil was excellent both before and after the job, and the main on scene contractor (Campbell) was punctual, polite and took care to ensure the job was well done.
No complaints and would certainly recommend.

We wanted an Andersen Quartz EV charger supplied & installed. From the initial enquiry we were kept informed. After quickly arranging to view the job, a detailed quote was provided and Neil did all the checks with the network operator. Campbell and Jordan took a morning to do the installation and we needed a dedicated EV board. Really neat job with cabling running under our floor. Left the paperwork for us to register for the 7 year warranty. Followed up to check we were happy with the job. Would use Energize again for electrical work and recommend to family & friends.

We had a complete rewire of a flat. A site survey was carried out prior to starting we had a positive discussion on the options available and were provided with ideas and suggestions which was great The work was completed in a timely manner, if there additional costs we were notified immediately, I can’t fault their customer communication or the standard of workmanship, both were excellent. They left the property clean & tidy each day. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company.
