Energize Electrical was established to provide a comprehensive service to all domestic, commercial and industrial sectors.
We are trusted and reliable electricians who serve customers throughout the City of Edinburgh and the Lothians. We have extensive experience of residential and business electrical installations both large and small.
As an NICEIC approved contractor, we at Energize Electrical will always aim to put the high standards of the NICEIC into everything we do and always adhere to the highest levels of safety and perform the best quality of work possible for all our customers.
This means that our work is regularly assessed to ensure that it meets all the current regulations as well as the industry standards. It also gives our customers, reassurance and guarantees that if for any reason work does not meet the correct standard it will be corrected under the terms of the scheme.

Energize Electrical installed a Tesla charger for us including some joinery work that was required to custom fit some of the equipment.
Excellent communication from planning to execution of the installation, we provided some technical/operational challenges and this was handled thoughtfully and in a caring manner by the company.

Energize fitted smoke/carbon monoxide alarms to meet regulations, and also replaced some internal and external light fittings/switches for me. The work was carried out professionally and carefully by a great team. What's great about this company is its reliability, skill, communication and focus on customer satisfaction.

The Energize Electrical team installed an electric car charger (Hypervolt) in my house. They did a great job and a few things stand out. Great pro-active communications throughout on timings, next steps and the process involved in the EST grant application. And the installation itself was done professionally - finding ways to minimise the cable run outside the house, keeping me updated on how they were getting on and asking for my involvement at the right time when a few choices had to be made. Would definitely recommend to others and intend to use again myself for future electrical works. Thanks!

We have just had an EV charger installed at our delayed new build.
5 months after our original move in date the drive way was finally completed which was needed for the grant.
Neil’s communication has been excellent, guiding us through the various grants available.
The installers Campbell and Jordan have done a fantastic job with the install.
Can’t recommend these guys highly enough!

I have just had Energize install my EV Charger. Through out the process Neil kept me informed and made sure my grant applications was completed correctly. His team were first class installing the box and wiring to the distribution board very neatly. The also cleaned up after they were finished. I highly recommend this company

We had an EV charger installed. Excellent communication from Neil throughout the process, showing us why the Hypervolt was best for us, and pointing out that we could unexpectedly qualify for the EST grant as our EV had just been admitted to the OZEV eligible list.
Work was carried out efficiently. Campbell worked with us to determine the optimal cable route and charger location that also worked for us and Campbell and Jordan were careful with our property, made sure we were all clear about the specifics of the installation before and during the work, and took particular care in cleaning up afterwards. Every part of the installation is neat!

The installation was of a very high standard and Campbell and Jordan who carried out the works were efficient and also very helpful. They assisted in talking us through the app download and how to get the charger up and running.

I had smoke alarms, heat sensor and CO alarm fitted. Neil was up-front from the start about the problems with supply and continued to keep me informed. Campbell and Jordan were very friendly but professional, Campbell made excellent suggestions for placement and the whole job was done in about 15 minutes.

I was looking to get some quotes from the EST approved electricians to install EV charger and Energize Electrical was one of them, a friend had recommended Energize Electrical because of their excellent service.
Quick response to my initial inquiry from Neil.
Very happy that they would carried out site survey, Campbell explained throughly what needs to be done regarding the installation.
Excellent communication, always keep me updated and very helpful throughout the process from choosing my EV charger, to installation and step by step guide to the grant claim process by Neil.
Campbell and his colleague done a great job for the installation, very tidy work, no mess.

After being let down by another company I called Neil for help and help he did!
Energize electrical were recommended by a friend and arrived for a site visit just hours after my first call. I was lead through the entire process with what can only be described as military precision!
Charger now fitted with no issues to report.
