Contract Heating have a proven track record that spans more than 20 years. In that time we have continued to provide landlords and tenants with a first class boiler repair and installation service.
We are Gas Safe Registered and our gas engineers are supported by a highly trained team of people based at our office in Edinburgh, the office staff ensure our customers jobs are managed and completed with the minimum of disruption to the customer.

Contract Heating are third party certified for each type of work we carry out. This ensures high standards as we are audited by each certification body - Gas Safe Register, NICEIC, BAFE and The Legionella Control Association. Contract Heating carried out a boiler service for me fairly recently. The whole process from making the booking to the engineer arriving to carry out the work was simple and went fully according to plan . The engineer was polite and very helpful.

Carried out x2 gas tests with a high level of professionalism and dedication.
Very pleasant and courteous to deal with also very well presented, a very valuable member of staff which is reflected on the company.
A pleasure to do business with, only one downside , the phones are really noisy with a lot of other conversations going on by other staff which can be hard to hear.
Please pass on my thanks to all.

Our heating system failed and Contract Heating was contacted. Their engineer arrived when expected and phoned ahead to inform us.
The engineer was very pleasant and fast and efficient and our heating system was back up and running within the hour.
Knowing that service like this is available stops you worrying about things that might go wrong !

First class company with engineers who turn up on time, keep you fully informed and are very tidy.
The engineer never stopped and although he encountered some issues, he overcame these so we never had to worry.
Very well presented and fully understood our needs. Explained thoroughly before leaving.
Big plus point, seven days later a quality control engineer called to ensure everything was to our complete satisfaction.

A combi boiler break down between Christmas and New Year was an unexpected expense, but Contract Heating were available quickly, both the admin staff on the phone and the engineer (Andrew) were understanding, pleasant and helpful. Full terms & conditions explained, the visit happened very soon after my morning call, parts already in hand, and everything was fixed by midday. I was pleased with the job done and advice received, and their professionalism.

This is my 3rd year using Contract Heating to service my boiler and I wouldn't dream of using any other company. Booking a visit is so easy and straight-forward. The Engineer called me 30 mins before his arrival, which is extremely helpful. He was very pleasant and well-mannered. He carried out the service and reassured me if for some reason a problem occurred I was just to call the office and it would be dealt with asap.
Service is so good my Mum has an Engineer booked to carry out a service on her boiler next wk.

I am a semi-retired Building Industry professional and act as a private landlord in Edinburgh. I rent only to young professionals or to post graduate students and take great care to vet references and suitability.
Based on a recent annual Gasafe boiler check by Contract Heating's Mr S Rooney I am happy to confirm his excellent attitude to having to deal with an unusual problem regarding essential removal of a small kitchen cabinet 'obstruction.' This was essential to allow him full access to the heat combustion chamber of the boiler to complete his full technical check.
In my opinion Mr Rooney showed an excellent attitude to this work.

Had a problem with my Potterton closed system heating with loss of pressure. Eventually found problem to be a leaky plastic to copper underfloor pipe coupling. This could have been horrendous but problem was initially identified on Thursday afternoon by first engineer and fixed by Friday morning by second engineer. Both call outs were at short notice and they were very responsive. High quality of workmanship and knowledge was very apparent. It was not cheap but I was well satisfied and pleased with the overall result especially since I have had bad experiences previously with cowboy plumbers/heating engineers.

I chose this company for my vulnerable mother via a recommendation from the GP! Contract Heating has been efficient, courteous and professional. Their communication and service provided offers a smooth and effortless transaction. The engineer we had was a well-mannered young man, clean, professional and friendly. What more can one ask for when dealing with the obligatory boiler service than to actually look forward to the event, because you know it will be carried out reliably. I would highly recommend this company for anyone who 'dreads' a tradesman stepping into their house. You will not be disappointed with the outcome.

Friendly and helpful engineers and highly efficient office staff. Good comms - email, text, mobile calls.

Our son detected that boiler developed a minor fault whilst I was on holiday abroad.
From poolside I emailed Christine at Contract Heating via company web site (info email). She diaried an engineer visit, text communicated with my son.
Fault repaired within a day as I lay poolside having confidence fault was being dealt with.
How is that for service. First class and I recommend Contract Heating for servicing and heating cover.
