Contract Heating have a proven track record that spans more than 20 years. In that time we have continued to provide landlords and tenants with a first class boiler repair and installation service.
We are Gas Safe Registered and our gas engineers are supported by a highly trained team of people based at our office in Edinburgh, the office staff ensure our customers jobs are managed and completed with the minimum of disruption to the customer.
We provide a range of services to landlords, property managers and private clients. The services we provide include:
PAT & Electrical Testing, Gas Safety Checks, Legionella Risk Assessment, Domestic Water System Periodic Inspection, Fire Alarm Maintenance, EICR, Fire Risk Assessment, Service Contracts, EPC's, boiler repair and installation, Gas Engineer Training, Landlord Gas Awareness Training.
Contract Heating are third party certified for each type of work we carry out. This ensures high standards as we are audited by each certification body - Gas Safe Register, NICEIC, BAFE and The Legionella Control Association. This means that you are in safe hands with us and can easily verify our competency.

The engineer (Alan Reid) was very informative and considerate within my home. He replaced my boiler very neatly and all within 1 day. From the initial inspection to tidy up I felt very confident of the works being done.

Central heating boiler broke down , British Gas (in spite of expensive
contract) and local Heroes unable to help. Contract heating engineer
defined problem in 24 hours . within 4 days new boiler and three new radiators installed without mess or fuss . Very helpful engineer and assistant (Rob Hamilton and Mark Harrigan ) explained controls and for me it could not have been easier . Full marks. Thank you.

Alan Reid and Dean were brilliant and very professional at all times. The new boiler was up and running in no time and Alan and Dean even cleaned up, moved all of our furniture back for us and even set our timers back on the new boiler. Great job- thanks!

Rob Hamilton and Austen from Contract Heating completed a Combi Boiler installation and conversion. From start to finish the work and the results were professional, prompt, and above best expectations. They even left us with heating and hot water after Day-1 before continuing the next day. They arrived on time, left everywhere clean and tidy, and removed all surplus packing and materials. They're good guys too. The new boiler and piping work looks great. Not a single gripe, hence a score of 5. Thanks guys!

I have used Contract Heating Ltd since 2014 using the company to carry out annual PAT testing, boiler repairs, installation of hot water tank & most recently EICR testing.
On every occasion I have found the staff to be most helpful & their engineers to be friendly carrying out the works efficiently & to a high standard.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this company based on my dealings with them over the years.

I had forgotten all about the annual boiler service until Contract Heating sent a friendly email reminder, I booked an appointment and Graham arrived a couple of days later at a time to suit me. The staff in the office whether you speak to them by phone or email are extremely friendly and helpful - the engineers who attend are always very polite, smartly dressed, friendly, professional and efficient, they tidy up as they go and leave the house in the same condition as when they arrive. You can also track your engineer to get an indication of arrival time. I would highly recommend Contract Heating.

Our central heating boiler had broken down and we phoned Contract Heating. An engineer was sent the same day and identified the cause of the breakdown. Parts were ordered and fitted within 3 days. Our boiler was also serviced during the visits.
The engineer, Craig, who appeared on both occasions was courteous, considerate and abided by the rules raised by the Covid 19 pandemic.
When he left after the second visit, the boiler was working very efficiently.
We cannot thank Contract Heating enough for their efficient and prompt service.

Boiler broke down in the middle of a snow storm, despite the last minute call and the limited resources available with engineers being all booked out already, Contract heating went over and beyond the call of duty and managed to help out remotely. Outstanding level of dedication and kindness with top professionalism - will definitely recommend this company and will use again in the future. Was particularly impressed when they followed up to make sure everything was still working correctly. Made my day! THANK YOU.

Christmas Eve and the hot water goes off!!
Contract Heating were in attendance by 11.00 and the problem fixed by 12.00.
Their engineer, Graham, took time to locate the issue, in the end finding the problem under the floorboards. He was extremely efficient and pleasant - a real credit to the Company.
Couldn't be more highly recommended.

New boiler instillation carried out by Rob Hamilton and Dean , can’t fault the guys at all they explained everything they needed too , were very polite and cheerful , really pleasant to deal with , left absolutely no mess whatsoever and I’d definitely recommend this company to anyone
