Repair to my botched DIY job of fitting a water butt to the downpipe guttering. Friendly and professional service, work completed to a high standard and cleared up after themselves.

David and Andrew replaced two sets of sliding wardrobe doors for us. They were very professional , there was no mess and we are very pleased with the finished job. We would certainly use them again and would recommend them to friends and family.

Conservatory roof had developed a leak. A small job. but difficult since the source of the problem was not easy to find. Most likely source was identified and remedial action taken. Conservatory has been dry since then.

The Kay brothers are always reliable and helpful. We have used them many times and have always been happy with the service, attention and work carried.

Removal of chimney, complete refurbishment of dormer, re-do cement flashing on second chimney, new zinc ridges, replace significant sections of fibre roof tiles, fit GRP dry verges to both sides of gable, internal plastering and external harling, various minor improvements: Small team working very efficiently together, excellent technical knowledge and workmanship.  Very conscientious.  Highly recommended for small to medium works.

Very pleased with the work that David and Allan did on my house. I would have no qualms about recommending them. Very tidy and left my driveway and garden clean.
Friendly and hard working.

Roof repair to office on Tranent High Street.  Identification of cause of water egress after storm.  Replacement of cement flashing between our building and neighbouring empty building.  Also repairs to 'scotch' tiling: Required scaffolding at rear, some of it in neighbouring yard.  Required negotiating with contractor working on neighbouring property.

Re-point ridges on dormers.  Clear moss from ridges on dormers and house roof.  Repair any loose or missing cement along ridges of roof.  Repair/replace loose/damaged tiles.  Clear valleys and water gates from foliage: Excellent job.  David and his team were very prompt, courteous and clean workmen.  Did the job on time and within estimated timescale and cost.  Would use again and recommend to others. Roof looks so much better.

Fixed some tiles and while doing this, identified a problem with the gutter which he offered to fix.
Turned up on date as planned, carried out work promptly, and as far as I can tell it’s a good job!

Replaced tiles and fixed rendering on side of roof. Replaced rotten window sills and fixed gutters which had leaks in them. All work done to a high standard and David and Alan were very professional and pleasant from start to finish. Left the job very tidy. Would definitely use the company again if anymore repairs needed in the future.

Remove old wooden conservatory and replace with new UPVC replacement and fit new floor: David Kay and his team were hard workers who were careful and tidy.  It was a pleasure to see the quality of their work and I would recommend them without reservation.

Replacing our sitting-room ceiling and sorting out electrical work.

They helped us out when companies would not, giving us a realistic time frame for the work and has essentially gone above and beyond to sort out what was required.

Superb work carried out by Mr Kay and his company. Good professional attitude with good clean work carried out with the minimum of fuss form all involved.

We cannot recommend them enough and we would certainly use them again should we need to.

Repaced double glazing units - great job as always!!

Very pleased with the roof work we had carried out by WH Kay. David was great to communicate with, turned up when promised and did the work as agreed, also made no mess round the property while working and removed from site any waste or residues from the work. Would definitely recommend.
