Although this was a relatively small job it was completed with professional expediency and courtesy. Although they Were busy they managed to fit me in and do an excellent job. I will use them again.

Roof leak repair due to damaged/slipped tiles underneath solar panel. Prompt repair carried out within a few days of initial enquiry, with issue solved. Will definitely use again for future roofing issues.

Alan and David do an annual check and repair of my house roof they also clear and repair gutters, for their sins.

Investigation and repair of roof leak tracking to bedroom ceiling. Following identification of the source, rotten felt and tiling battens were replaced with new and all moss and debris cleared from tiles, joints and gutter.

WH Kay has been my ‘go to’ for a number of years. Despite being extremely busy, David responded promptly to my call for help. David and Alan kept me informed as they worked to identify the problem with my roof, clearly explained what they found and even provided before and after photos. Remove tiles on roof and rotten tiling battens.
Supply and fit new felt, tiling battens and replace existing tiles .
Supply and fit new tiles.

Remove aerial and cables which was causing problems.

We had a leak our hall ceiling just before Christmas . Phoned David and he came same day and made it water tight. Came back and replaced new tiles etc.

Alan and his brother undertook several repairs to our tiled roof and cleared the guttering all around the house. The guys did a great job, worked solidly whilst they were on site and took away all debris/waste material. They also identified a few further areas of damage and fixed them (with our permission) whilst they were here. We would not hesitate to use this firm again for future roof repairs - thank you!

Repair of guttering at high level and repointing of wall.

The repair of the guttering in two places required the building then dismantling and rebuilding of a tall scaffold. This was very efficiently done. The second location required the purchase of additional materials which did not affect the overall progress of the work. Good quality new cast iron guttering was provided.
A very good clean repointing job was also done.
Alan kept us up to date with the planning and progress of the work.
Overall we are very happy with the work done.

David and Alan did an excellent work when they replaced an external door and replaced a window glass recently. Cleaned up afterwards leaving nothing behind. I have used them many times and would thoroughly recommend them. They are both very helpful and friendly.

Successfully dealing with various internal and external maintenance problems.

The brothers carried the following work on our property:

1. Replacing and securing roofing slates.
2. Trimming two internal doors; and repairing damage to one of them.
3. Tightening the front door threshold.
4. Clearing excess silt from external gulleys.

All the work was carried out to a high standard, and we would have no hesitation in using their services again.

We had a problem with water penetration from around our Velux Window. They promptly replied to our call for help. David came and thoroughly investigated the problem. He showed us what they planned to do and then did it. So far, no problems with the fix.

We also asked them to look at a problem with our gutter. David diagnosed the underlying problem with great care and then did a repair which hopefully will do the trick.

Throughout, David was easy to work with. He was constructive. It was a pleasure to deal with him.

We used this firm to replace rotten cladding around dormer windows, make some minor roof repairs and to replace a corroded metal downpipe. Alan was excellent to deal with. He arrived on time to view the property, he provided accurate quotes and he kept us updated about the start date for works and also about progress as the works were carried out. The works were carried out to a very high standard and care was taken to ensure that nothing was damaged as the works were carried out.

Plastic roof verge caps had come loose during the high winds at the beginning of the year. I'd tried other companies with no response, I assume as it was quite a small job. David was quick with a quote and managed to fit the job in. He kept me up to date with when they would be able to attend. The men were friendly and efficient when they attended and turned up when they said they would. Very happy with the service.
