Rewriting of heating system and replacement of corroded pipes

We had a new radiator added to our C/H system and also a replacement thermostat fitted. On both occasions someone [sorry not good with names] called very promptly to price the jobs. We received an estimate very quickly and both jobs were carried out without delay. The jobs were done quickly and any waste cleaned up. Very happy with the work and should the need arise will certainly use Heating Scotland again.

We have used Heating Scotland Ltd several times over the past few years, the most recent being in May 2023. We have always found the company to be very professional and accommodating with all work completed to a very high standard and would have no hesitation in recommending their services.

A large horizontal radiator was removed and a new vertical one installed. This also involved moving pipework under the floor. I initially wanted all the radiators flushed out at the same time, however, a magnetic filter on the boiler was recommended as an effective, cheaper alternative. In addition, we had a hive controller installed. In summary, I was impressed with the sound advice that we were given which is obviously based on lots of experience. I felt that we were in safe hands which is reassuring. The work was done in stages to fit in with my schedule which was very helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

HIGH STANDARDS

We had a new boiler 2years ago, and we were having the boiler serviced this year. Very reliable.

Our ancient and seemingly DIY central heating, including back boiler and gas fire, had to be completely replaced with new radiators and a combi boiler. This also meant getting rid of the old hot water tank and sealing off various pipes and so on. We were nervous because it's an old building, and we'd relatively recently had wooden flooring put in everywhere. But Steven worked out ingenious solutions to make sure that there was minimal disruption to the floors, and even found a wonderful joiner to deal with the floor aspect, as well as a plasterer to tidy up the gaps left by the old boiler/fire and a couple of hatches that were needed in order to minimise floor interference. He briefed everyone extremely well, so that when they came to do the job it all worked smoothly. There were inevitable unexpected issues here and there, but the guys worked out effective solutions quickly and the problems turned out not to be as serious as they might have been (or so it seemed to us). The difference in our house is palpable already. We are absolutely delighted. And not only that, but there is 5-year warranty on their work, on top of the manufacturer's 10-year warranty on the boiler itself. Everyone was very patient with us and our jitters, which they took seriously, and very pleasant. We really cannot recommend them highly enough.
