This is not the first time I have used this company,they actually installed my heating system in 2015.

Its always a pleasure to do business with them because you know you will end up feeling perfectly satisfied that you have received great service.

Heating Scotland installed, serviced and have maintained our combi boiler for 13 years. We’ve always been happy with their work and how responsive they’ve been whenever we have an issue - which has kept things going with no sign of needing a replacement any time soon.

An error in which controller was fitted was solved satisfactorily. Apart from that the engineers were very pleasant, knowledgeable and thorough. I will be calling them next time I need some work doing.

Initially came to do our annual gas service, noticed there was some major issues with the way the boiler had been fitted by another company, which shall remain nameless, over a year ago. My gas boiler was due a service and I contacted Heating Scotland following looking on Trusted Trader. The company provided a very efficient service. I was given an appointment and the engineer appeared at the appointment time. He explained what he was going to do and then checked with me during his visit that he was going to run water, check the meter etc. He advised that he would email me with the gas boiler report which he did. I was very satisfied with the visit and would use this company again if I either needed a gas boiler service or if there were any concerns with my heating.

I requested a quote from Heating Scotland Ltd to replace 3 radiators and install Hive contols for my central heating.

Originally, many years ago, they installed our (then) new gas central heating boiler. Since then they have provided regular checks which includes a timely reminder that a check is due. It is then undertaken promptly, cheerfully and efficiently.

After replacing my boiler in 2018, which they did quickly, efficiently and to a high standard, also sorting out some logistics that other companies couldn’t with the installation, I get them back every year to service the boiler, always pleasant, on time and nothing is too much bother, would highly recommend.

We needed a new boiler fitting and Shirley, Steven and the team at Heating Scotland were very professional from the outset. The advice was great, the quote competitive and the friendly engineers did a great job of fitting it, cleaned up behind themselves and made time to talk us through how to make the most efficient use of it. The boiler came with a 12 year warranty and they also fitted a filter and a smart thermostat. Comms was excellent from start to finish and the process made simple. We have had a cranky boiler for three years and our boiler insurance provider kept sending out people who couldn’t fix it permanently. Heating Scotland came out to do a boiler inspection and quickly identified the problem and repaired it in no time at all. Rewriting of heating system and replacement of corroded pipes

We had a new radiator added to our C/H system and also a replacement thermostat fitted. On both occasions someone [sorry not good with names] called very promptly to price the jobs. We received an estimate very quickly and both jobs were carried out without delay. The jobs were done quickly and any waste cleaned up. Very happy with the work and should the need arise will certainly use Heating Scotland again.

We have used Heating Scotland Ltd several times over the past few years, the most recent being in May 2023. We have always found the company to be very professional and accommodating with all work completed to a very high standard and would have no hesitation in recommending their services.

A large horizontal radiator was removed and a new vertical one installed. This also involved moving pipework under the floor. I initially wanted all the radiators flushed out at the same time, however, a magnetic filter on the boiler was recommended as an effective, cheaper alternative. In addition, we had a hive controller installed. In summary, I was impressed with the sound advice that we were given which is obviously based on lots of experience. I felt that we were in safe hands which is reassuring. The work was done in stages to fit in with my schedule which was very helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

HIGH STANDARDS

We had a new boiler 2years ago, and we were having the boiler serviced this year. Very reliable.

Our ancient and seemingly DIY central heating, including back boiler and gas fire, had to be completely replaced with new radiators and a combi boiler. This also meant getting rid of the old hot water tank and sealing off various pipes and so on. We were nervous because it's an old building, and we'd relatively recently had wooden flooring put in everywhere. But Steven worked out ingenious solutions to make sure that there was minimal disruption to the floors, and even found a wonderful joiner to deal with the floor aspect, as well as a plasterer to tidy up the gaps left by the old boiler/fire and a couple of hatches that were needed in order to minimise floor interference. He briefed everyone extremely well, so that when they came to do the job it all worked smoothly. There were inevitable unexpected issues here and there, but the guys worked out effective solutions quickly and the problems turned out not to be as serious as they might have been (or so it seemed to us). The difference in our house is palpable already. We are absolutely delighted. And not only that, but there is 5-year warranty on their work, on top of the manufacturer's 10-year warranty on the boiler itself. Everyone was very patient with us and our jitters, which they took seriously, and very pleasant. We really cannot recommend them highly enough.

I had the need to call for an emergency plumber to fix a leaking pipe. Heating Scotland came as soon as soon as possible and traced where the leak was coming from and made it safe (it had been leaking into a light fitting). They gave excellent service, good value for money and staff were polite and friendly. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Electric boiler mixer tap malfunction resulting in shortage of hot water for bathing and showering.
The company visited several times to investigate the problem.
Initially, it was discovered that a number of elements had tripped off.
This was rectified but the fault persisted.
We were asked to monitor the temperatures at various locations on the boiler
which we did.
The faulty mixer control was replaced and the system is now working properly
delivering hot water as required.

This is the second time we have used them having had a boiler change and regular servicing in our previous home. I am a chartered civil engineer with over 40 years experience both in the construction industry and lecturing to post graduate engineers. Heating Scotland replaced my existing conventional boiler with a combi. I found them to be completely professional in their approach to the contract from the initial estimate, which was very competitive, to the completion of the work which was of a high standard. I should also mention that the operatives were very friendly, helpful, careful, tidy and anxious to complete the work to a high standard. Most impressive!

They are among the most professional companies i have had the pleasure to do Business with. Through out the whole process they were consistently had excellent level of communication, time keeping, engineering knowledge and workmanship.

During the installation of the boiler the engineers discovered a issue with the installation of the condensate, which they given me two options add extra to my bill(to install a pump) or fit tubing through the wall which initially would be visible. (I chosen the tubing option)
I like how the engineers gave me the options and explained the reasons why. This leads me to suspect this company is honest when it comes to their clients.

The installation was on the 9/12/2021 no issues.

I found them to be slightly more costly compared to other companies but in my opinion it is worth it. If you are looking to install a gas boiler I suggest to give them a call.

Competitive quote was given for the work. Very happy with the entire process. Communication was excellent throughout and queries were always answered promptly. The work was carried out as advised, the guys showed up exactly on time and worked diligently throughout the day to complete the job. My questions were always answered then and there and nothing was too difficult for them.

I initially had an issue with the new Hive heating control system (not caused by Heating Scotland) and every effort was made by them to resolve the matter immediately, including replacing the entire hive system the following day.

Aiden and Paul the heating engineers could not have been more understanding in trying to minimise the disruption to our home, choosing to cut a hatch in a cupboard floor to gain access to the pipework, thereby reducing the necessity for additional uplifting of the floor in other rooms.

At every stage they consulted us and ensured we were happy with each stage of the process. The work itself was scheduled and completed within a surprisingly short time frame that exceeded our expectations.

I was having problems with my water not being hot all the time so I called Shirley who sent her engineer Stephen to site. It took him about 5 minutes to suss out that it was user idiocy that was to blame and he fixed my problem and showed me what the issue was [without making me look like the idiot I clearly had been].

Now, I am not versed in heating systems so he could have told me anything and charged me whatever he wanted and I would have been none the wiser but he is clearly an honest man working for an honest Company and that's worth its weight in gold.

I have since had a service on the system and again there was no messing about just a job well done and as before, at a reasonable and fair price.

This time, we used them to replace our downstairs radiators, 6 in total and to remove an additional radiator.

On time, very efficient and personable. Got on with the job at hand, removed all materials and tidied up after they had finished. Very pleased and will use again.

I had a failed Expansion Vessel in my Combi Boiler. They sent an engineer out on the Friday and assessed the job. They provided a quote for a new internal vessel but advised me to get an external one fitted as it would be a third cheaper. I had a new external vessel fitted and my system was up and running the following Monday. Internal would be £350, External £210. Very Good.

We had a new boiler installed by Heating Scotland. Their quality of workmanship was excellent. They were prompt, took as long as they estimated, were unobtrusive and tidy, and charged exactly what we agreed. A very pleasant experience all round and all done safely during COVID.

We have an older boiler that the engineer managed to locate parts for even though we had been told by others we would require a new boiler when it broke down. The support from this family-run firm is terrific from Shirley in the office always on the end of the phone to Steve and his small team of engineers who are thoughtful and caring, with a great level of skill and knowledge.

It's hard to find companies that deal with electric boilers so it was a relief that Heating Scotland were able to come within a few hours, diagnose the problem, work out a temporary fix and then come back a few days later to install the new part that was needed. Their service was efficient, professional and friendly. I recommend them without hesitation.

The Heating Scotland engineer serviced the Gas boiler and carried out the Gas safety checks on all other appliances in our rental property.
Our tenant has been shielding for a long time due to health issues during the current pandemic, she was worried about a stranger entering the premises but the engineer put her completely at ease and carried out a very professional service wearing full PPE.

I recently had an old radiator removed and a new radiator installed in my living-room. The service was superb - from initially removing my radiator to installing my new radiator. This process was fast and efficient. There was a delay receiving my radiator from the supplier - heating Scotland continuously chased for this and kept me updated on the progress. They helped me with any questions I had along the way. I can't thank them enough for the great work and service - will definitely use again and recommend. Price was also very reasonable. Outstanding.
