I needed to find someone to fix my daughter's washing machine as the door wouldn't open at the end of a wash cycle. I've used this Trusted Trader site to find contractors for several years now and the reviews for BR Domestic Appliance Specialist stood out a mile in this category. Billy was on holiday but arranged to fix the problem on the day he got back, and even called round to my daughter's workplace to pick up her keys to get access. The machine needed a new door kit which he already had in his van so he was able to complete the repair right away. This is first class service! Highly recommended and will definitely use again.

We contacted Billy when our washing machine had started acting up. He arrived within a couple of hours of our call. The problem was identified and the nessary parts ordered. These were fitted promptly and efficiently as soon as they were available.
While he was fixing the washing machine we asked him to have a look at our oven which was also not working as it should. Again defective parts were identified and a price agreed and work completed the next working day.
All work was done efficiently and cleanly with minimum disruption to us.

Our 20-year old washing machine motor failed. We contacted Billy on a Saturday who said he could come Tuesday to see if it can be fixed. We expected that we might need to purchase a new machine, but no, it was repaired and working just great. In addition we wanted a new seal fitted if it worked, and it was. Just great service - Billy very pleasant to deal with, we admire his expertise and will recommend to friends.

I have a Wolf cooker/oven which is American, expensive and apparently rare in Scotland. It got damaged during cleaning and the smaller oven blew the electricity circuit whenever turned on. I contacted Billy through this website. He was courteous, extremely helpful, reliable and exceptional value in my opinion. Billy hadn't seen a Wolf range like mine before but with his experience, logic, common sense and determination he managed to fix it for me. And as an added bonus, he is also a very nice man!

I had water backing up from the sink into the dishwasher. Came out within a day of the call and had it fixed inside 20 minutes! Would thoroughly recommend.

Billy arrived as arranged to look at our washing machine which had stopped spinning. In fact, there was nothing wrong with the machine but an uneven load two days earlier had stopped the machine from spinning. Billy explained what to do if it happened again and we paid for the call out only.
When we replace our elderly dishwasher we will definitely ask Billy to install it.

Billy repaired my elderly parents’ hoover. He carried out the work quickly and efficiently at an excellent price. Because of they were unable to drop the hoover at his shop he kindly agreed to pick it up and drop it off again. We will use Billy for any appliance repairs we need in the future.

My washing machine broke at the weekend and I e-mailed on Saturday night in the hope of getting a repair in the week. He impressed me by getting in touch on Sunday and repaired the machine on Monday morning.
He carries spares for many machines and arrived at the arranged time.
I had caused damage to the pipes when pulling the machine forward and Billy attended to these too. Excellent and great value for money!
