I recently used N & B Calder for creating my late wife’s headstone. I found the staff to be compassionate, friendly and very knowledgeable. They were always very quick to respond to any questions that I had and certainly made a very difficult job a lot easier. Throughout the process I was kept up to date with the progress and that standard and quality of finish of the headstone is outstanding. I would most certainly recommend using N & B Calder to family and friends.

Very good process. Stephanie was nice on the phone. Was able to carry out the works by a specific date for what would have been my fathers birthday even though they were busy due to the bad weather at the start of the year.

Stephanie provided a mock up design of how the additional wording would look like against the existing wording, made changes with ease and when the works were finished sent a complete picture of the gravestone.

Calders designed, built and installed a headstone for my late wife. Calders were compassionate through the whole process and completed the work within the agreed time schedule. I would thoroughly recommend calders and would definitely use them again.

From the first appointment when we as a family visited this trader and looked at the options for a suitable headstone for our Dad the service from the staff was excellent and they were very welcoming and put us at our ease during a difficult time for us. The staff let us view all the different headstones and explained the benefits of the one we selected in great detail. They let us take our time in choosing the perfect headstone and mentioned that we could go for silver lettering which we never knew was an option. The staff also made a computer image of what the headstone would look like with all the details which again we very much appreciated. Again all these little touches made the whole process so much easier for us. We have seen the headstone in situ and it is absolutely perfect and all that we wanted and more.
