We purchased a Headstone from N & B Calder and were very satisfied.
Esther and her colleagues were excellent to deal with and conducted business in a professional but friendly and down to earth manner. The finished product was just what we wanted and the standard of masonry and installation were impressive.

Recommended to me. I visited the store in Thainstone Mart at Inverurie. Immediately felt at ease with their approach and guidance. Through out the process they were xtremely communicative and efficient. i would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Following the death of our dear Mam, Elaine, who worked with Esther, John, Leo and the wider N&B Calder team - we already knew who we were going to work with. And that was the best Monumental Masons in Aberdeenshire.

Esther and Leo were there for me for a long time as a fantastic source of support when Mam was in hospital. We were able to build a rapport which was evident when we asked them to design a memorial for Mam. Between Esther’s understanding of our Mam and her many years of experience, along with Leo’s keen eye for detail and finesse, we got the most perfect and personal memorial for oor dear Mam.

Nothing was too much trouble and the whole process was smooth and completely non-pressured.

N & B Calder carried out work in designing, creating and laying a plaque at my mother and fathers grave in Dyce. The work was carried out as they stated it would be and placed at the cemetry on the date they stated it would be as this was the most important part of the order to myself.

I initially contacted N&B Calder regarding the refurbishment of an existing Cremation Plot Memorial Stone including cleaning of granite, renewal of gold lettering etc all set on new foundation. I have been kept up to date with progress and on completion of the work N&B Calder have issued me with photos of headstone, as existing and also refurbished for comparison and approval. I can only thank them for the quality of work carried out and would have no hesitation in recommending this company for any work related to new and refurbishment of granite memorial stones and associated installation works.

I'm very pleased with all aspects of service provided ie the work done, compassionate care given, communication and advice given. All I all an excellent standard.

Supplying my wives headstone

This is the second time that we have used N & B Calder Limited. They are wonderful people, and always willing to work with our slightly unusual requests, and produce beautiful results to celebrate those that have gone before us.

We chose N&B Calder to craft our Dad's memorial headstone as they are a local independent business. We were not disappointed. We received very good service right from coming through the door for the first time, to the completed headstone installed. We recently had the inscription updated and again they were super efficient and we are very pleased with everything. They also cleaned and spruced up our grandparents headstone.
