Carried out emergency work to leak from hidden toilet system. Came very quickly and fixed the problem and also sorted out an additional toilet in another bedroom en-suite that was starting to leak as well.

We had quotes from a few other companies but we liked the fact that we had a brochure to show us the type of sink and shower etc we would be getting and there was a large choice of wallboards. As the bathroom was going to be fitted out mainly with wallboards this was important to us. Also we only had to wait a few months before the job took place.

Nicky and Robbie arrived and pulled the old bathroom out and proceeded to fit in the new bathroom. Nicky made a great deal of effort making sure everything was perfect. He is very precise, resulting in a lovely job. Dean did the plastering and a special thanks to Martin (Potsy Paint) who Kevin recommended to us and who came at short notice and did an excellent job painting and the ceiling and the one remaining blank wall.

We could recommend all the above. We are thrilled with our new bathroom.

The team at Melville Whitson & Muir were recommended by a friend and did not disappoint. I needed my hot water cylinder replaced and the process was really smooth from quote to installation. Once I accepted the quote the work was carried out really quickly and any questions I had were answered within a day. The work was carried out without any mess and they even reprogrammed my timer for me. I’d definitely use Kevin and his team again and would recommend them.

A mystery slow clean water leak was soaking through the rear of our property. The bathroom fittings are built in and access is difficult. Leak was traced, parts procured and repair completed in short order with no structural or cosmetic damage to the bathroom tiling. Most impressed with both the work and the cost.

Cannot recommend MW&M highly enough. We had our en-suite completely refurbished and insulation added to the walls. Work was also carried out on another bathroom to upgrade the sink and bath taps. The team were a joy to have in the house and worked really hard. Chris and Nicky were excellent as were all the other guys that worked on the job. They’ve turned a cold, leaking and smelly bathroom into a wonderful warm classy space. Will definitely be using them for further plumbing works needing carried out. I have used this company over a number of years.They have installed a new bathroom suite, fitted a replacement gas fire,fixed a shower tray leak and installed a new shower head fitment, and carry out the annual gas fire service each year.They are very reliable and come at the time agreed.I find their charges are reasonable.Their work has been carried out competently and efficiently,and I have had no reason to complain to them.I have recommended them to a friend and her experience was also excellent,and she would use them again.

After recently having a new boiler system from Melville, Whitson and Muir, I was really pleased to also choose them to give me a completely new bathroom. It took 7 days to rip everything out and install the new bathroom. I am delighted with it and would recommend the company without hesitation.
