Went online to see if someone could come and have a look at our oil boiler as it wasn't working properly.
They came out the next again day and serviced it and repaired it.
The guy who done it was lovely and spoke my husband through the problem with it.
Have now booked in for a yearly service and I can highly recommend them.

New boiler supplied and fitted plus radiators and all pipe work.

Fantastic service, great communication and incredible helpful staff that explained everything to you very well.

Installation of a new oil fired boiler and yearly servicing.Very happy with works done.

Replace radiator. Excellent service. Service provider arrived at the agreed time and carried out the work very efficiently. Altogether a very pleasant experience. **A very disappointing way to treat a longstanding customer**

I have used Limitless Heating previously and, until now, had been reasonably happy with their service, which makes our recent experience particularly disappointing.

They had previously attended and repaired our oil boiler, and that repair appeared to work well.

At around the same time, I asked them to provide me with a quotation for a potential like-for-like replacement boiler. The quotation came back at approximately **£9,000**, which was simply beyond what I was prepared or able to pay for a like-for-like replacement, so I continued with the existing boiler.

More recently, the boiler locked out again. I contacted Limitless and they attended, diagnosed the problem and replaced a couple of parts. Unfortunately, the repair lasted only for the weekend before the boiler failed again.

Naturally, I contacted them expecting them to return and investigate why their repair had failed so quickly.

Instead, they refused to come back. I was told that they had previously advised me to replace the boiler, that I had not followed their advice and, as a result, they wanted nothing further to do with trying to repair it.

That didn't correspond with my recollection, so I went back through the correspondence.

The replacement quotation had actually been requested **by me**. Their covering email described it as a **“requested estimate for the proposed heating works”** and simply said, **“If you wish to proceed, please let me know.”**

I can find nothing in that communication telling me that the boiler was beyond economical repair, recommending that it must be replaced, or warning me that they would refuse to undertake further repairs if I didn't accept their £9,000 quotation.

That distinction matters.

Had I been clearly advised by a heating professional that the boiler was no longer viable and should not be repaired, that would have been information I could have considered. Receiving a quotation that I requested and deciding that £9,000 was unaffordable is an entirely different matter.

What has disappointed me most is what happened after their latest repair failed. We were left with a non-functioning boiler and they simply refused to return.

My wife is in her 70s and currently unwell, so being left without reliable heating is not an insignificant inconvenience. I would have expected considerably more understanding and professionalism from a local heating company we had previously trusted.

To be fair, Limitless have subsequently said that they will not charge me for their most recent unsuccessful repair. I appreciate that.

However, refusing to return to a failed repair while blaming the customer for supposedly ignoring advice that, as far as I can establish from the written correspondence, was never actually given is extremely disappointing.

Perhaps it does showcase how a company cares for its customers — just not in the way I would have hoped.

Replacement bathroom basin and loo seat were done to a very high standard. The fitters are great guys, friendly and helpful, Recommended.

Small job to alter a dishwasher water supply connection with a 90 degree bend making it more accessible. Job completed quickly with no fuss.

Chris and his apprentice replaced a broken underfloor heating control system in our new house, in a difficult location under the house. He also brought us into the age of Hive thermostats, and explained how to manage the underfloor and radiator heating domains. Very happy with the quick and responsive service, and will stay with Limitless now for future servicing and repairs if needed - and may call on them for some bathroom work.

Boiler installed in July 2025. Professional and tidy and caring install. Friendly employees both in the field and office. Boiler quote was competitive and also included additional thermostatic value for one radiator which didn't have plus Hive Heating. Other companies were far more expensive for less, always good to do a price check. Had previously had Limitless Heating carry out work (under former name of Melville and Whitson) and so trusted the company with the job. Such a difference having a modern boiler which is silent in operation. First service carried out in July 2026, mentioned that boiler had lost some air pressure on a few occasions recently. Manufacturer warranty sorted the issue out in a couple of days. Very receptive to feedback. Highly recommended. ☺️

Needed a CH radiator replaced due to a pinhole leak. Arranged swiftly, assessed same day I called and given an estimate and date a short while later for the work to be carried out. Arrived bang on time on the day of the work, worked cleanly and efficiently. I've used this company for 10 years now, and wouldn't go anywhere else. Staff throughout the company are all knowledgeable, friendly, and couldn't be more efficient.
