Replaced the roof on our extension and garage following leaks due to wrong tiles being installed. The issue was identified by Jim within a few minutes of coming to asses the problem, and the quote arrived within a couple of days. Work was done efficiently and on time, exactly as agreed. The crew that did the work made a really good job, were tidy with no mess left at all, and were respectful to ourselves and neighbours.
All in all, a very good job and would happily recommend them.

Aberdeen tenement with 7 owners and one abandoned flat, roof hadn’t had any significant repairs for decades, scope of work was to initially to repair leaks and damaged tiles. When access was actually obtained it was discovered that the roof had to be completely stripped, repaired and restarted.
Didn’t realize what an issue our roof repairs were going to be or how badly deteriorated it had become.
Jim was always forthright in reporting issues, and worked with us to complete the works within the budget set, though timing and availability mentioned that he had to start just before winter and work was interrupted a number of times by north eastern storms.

I had slips, valleys, peins and several slates fixed. The Team working on my job (Peter & Danny) were excellent Roofers and very friendly, happy to explain how the job was progressing. I'd recommend Broomhill Roofing to anyone looking to have roof repairs done on a traditional granite build house. The owner Jim was a pleasure to co-ordinate with.

Flat roof replacement, replaced tiles on dormers, replaced tiles and sarking.repointed chimney stack, capped chimneys. Replaced guttering and downspouts.
Given a warranty for work done.
Queried an internal patch on chimney wall a couple of months later. Jim attended promptly. Did investigation. Couldn’t readily see a cause but decided to redo some pointing as the weather had deteriorated suddenly soon after the work was initially completed in case the mortar had been compromised. Advised to run a dehumidifier to dry out wall completely Assured if problem persists just to call again.
Jim also gave advice on unforeseen problems that came to light as work was being carried out. He also gave solutions saying might as well fix it whilst up there with very little impact on the budget. Gave updates in person with photographic proof of work as it progressed. Phone calls answered/returned promptly.
