West Dunbartonshire Trusted Trader joins trustedtrader.scot

On 1 April 2021, the West Dunbartonshire Trusted Trader scheme moved over to the purpose built trustedtrader.scot platform: www.trustedtrader.scot/WestDunbartonshire/

The West Dunbartonshire Trusted Trader scheme was originally launched in 2015 and its aims and objectives remain the same.

  • increase consumer confidence
  • protect residents from doorstep crime
  • promote and support good business practice.

Applications are invited from West Dunbartonshire based businesses or businesses from surrounding areas who can demonstrate that a significant proportion of their work is conducted in West Dunbartonshire. To learn more follow this link to fill in an expression of interest or you can apply online.

The trustedtrader.scot team are looking forward to working closely with the Trading Standards Team, who together will deliver and manage the scheme, which is backed by West Dunbartonshire Council and supported by Police Scotland.

Tony Cairns, Trading Standards Coordinator said:
“We are very pleased to partner with the trustedtrader.scot platform and look forward to working with them in the delivery of the West Dunbartonshire Trusted Trader scheme.

Member businesses are vetted before they can join and must adhere to a strict code of conduct. This will continue to give confidence and peace of mind to anyone looking for a reliable and reputable trader to carry out works for them. Residents can also get further details at the Council’s website.”
