Fife Trusted Trader Celebrates 15 Years of Supporting Consumers and Local Businesses

Fife Trusted Trader is celebrating 15 years of helping residents find reliable local businesses while supporting traders who are committed to high standards of workmanship, customer service and fair-trading practices.

Since its launch in 2011, the Fife Trusted Trader scheme has become a trusted source of information for consumers across Fife, providing reassurance when choosing local businesses and helping to strengthen confidence in the local marketplace. Over the past 15 years, the scheme has supported reputable local businesses while helping residents make informed purchasing decisions with confidence.

Backed by Fife Council and administered through Trading Standards, all member businesses are vetted before joining the scheme. Established to help protect consumers from rogue traders and poor-quality workmanship, the scheme also provides a platform for businesses to demonstrate their commitment to quality, transparency and customer care.

Over the years, Fife Trusted Trader has grown to include businesses from a wide range of sectors, including home improvements, construction, plumbing, electrical services, landscaping and many other trades. The scheme has generated thousands of customer reviews and helped residents identify businesses they can trust, while member businesses have benefited from increased visibility, credibility and customer confidence.
