We needed a new combi, condensation boiler and a new radiator. The work was complicated by the fact that the pipes under the floors needed changing as well and we were worried that massive holes will have to be cut and then patched back.
Mark was very helpful from the beginning and assured us of the care the team will take of our floors and that they will manage the work with as little disturbance of the floors as possible. Indeed, the team was on time, worked very well and efficiently, they were friendly and helpful, and the work was done faster than we assumed, and with a great outcome. We're delighted with their job and we thoroughly recommend them.

Excellent job and great customer service. From the beginning the service was great. They changed the boiler and radiators while we were on holidays and the quality of the job is just excellent. They also helped us to solve a couple of problems while we were away. We are very happy with everything.

Recently completed purchase of a flat off the Royal Mile which was in urgent need of a new boiler and shower. I read all the 5* reviews of Smartgas and could not believe they could be that good but they were. Mark arrived within 25 hours of my new request. New combi boiler and shower in within weeks and gas checks all done. All on time, on budget and super clean and neat. Even the problems of no parking and dealing with the Factor for various permissions did not phase them. Simply amazing at such a busy time. No hesitation to recommend.

Mark came to give a quote. He explained what needed doing and why and talked out any potential issues (our boiler was very old). He was more thorough than other companies that gave us quotes. The quote arrived quickly and was competitive.
Ross installed the boiler. He was very professional, arrived on time, cleaned up any mess and explained everything clearly.
Overall, Smartgas responded very quickly to any queries, we didn't have to wait long for appointments and we were happy with the whole experience. Definitely use them again and would recommend them

We have used SmartGas since we moved back to Edinburgh 3 years ago. They carried out all the plumbing and heating work on the complete refurbishment of our apartment. Their work is of very high quality. I now use them for all my regular maintenance work and they respond and carry out the work quickly. I also use them for my holiday let boiler service. The final recommendation is that a couple of my neighbours also use Smartgas based on our recommendation. I would not think of using anyone else in Edinburgh.

Our boiler and electric shower broke down and we organised a quote from Mark at Smartgas Solutions. Mark promptly reviewed the property in a Covid safe manner. His team (Ross and Dylan) carried out a superb job, in a safe and considerate manner. Ross explained all the work carried out thoroughly and he was happy to answer all our questions. Smartgas Solutions were very efficient and we're extremely happy with the quality of their service.

Smartgas came out to inspect my boiler which had broken down during recent bad weather.
They responded quickly and were with me the next day and a new boiler was installed the following week on a Saturday as promised, even though weather conditions caused significant difficulties for staff to travel into Edinburgh.
The two technicians who installed my boiler were on time, courteous and efficient (Ross and Daryl). They cleared up all debris as they went along and the old boiler and wet finished within the times given by Mark.
I would highly this firm to all friends and family and they will be my first port of call in future.

4th January, freezing weather, boiler stopped working, young child in the house - nightmare. After a frenzied call around a number of trusted trader plumbers, Mark at Smart Gas juggled appointments to get an engineer to us that same day. Choice of fixing our very old boiler with a costly new pump or getting a brand new one installed. Mark’s quotes and advice were prompt and helpful and a lot cheaper than a comparative quote for the new boiler. Jason, the engineer for the call out and the boiler installation was really great - on time, tidy, friendly and clear with instructions and warranty info. Smart Gas helped us out of a fix - I recommend them.

Smartgas replaced an old, temporamental boiler and installed two Nest heating zones within the house. The solution works well and the addition of two heating zones on their recommendation has been helpful to manage heating in certain parts of the house at different times.
The team were easy to work with, completed the job on time and helped us find solutions to any complications encountered during the job. They were neat, tidy and friendly and I would highly recommend.
