Overall very pleased with the quality the work and the manner in which was carried out- across all trades. We have done a number of renovation jobs and I would say day to day communication, management and problem solving are the best I have seen. Would definitely recommend Jonathon and his team.

Initially requested their service to replace my sash windows with double-glazing and was very satisfied with the workmanship.

I then had a leaky roof which lasted for more than 6 months with 3 different roofers who could just not fix the issue. I then called on Jonathon who immediately found the fault and fixed leak, ending 6 months of misery!

I have then used their services for multiple jobs (ceiling patching, Insulation, stone repair) and have consistently been impressed by their work.

They're may be priced at the mid-higher end of the market, but I thoroughly recommend their service should you want the job done well, and not have to worry later.

We are very happy with our new windows. Mr Morrice and his team arrived on time, each introduced themselves, worked extremely fast, and did an excellent job. Thank you.

We had some work done to our dormer bay windows where the wood had rotted beneath the paint, the side windows do not open and so without scaffolding these are only accessible from the interior of the property and needed roof irons to create a safe working environment.

Alan and his team were diligent and thoughtful in their completion of the work, we were very thankful for their service and a job well done! We will definitely use Newtown Renovations again should the occasion arise.

We wanted the cupboards under our kitchen bunker replaced with new units, which we thought would mean having to remove the bunker and redoing all the convoluted plumbing. The superb Newtown joiner instead worked out what he would do if it were his own home and with his excellent apprentice delivered a result that was better than we'd hoped for, in half the time we'd anticipated. We are delighted with it, and with the friendliness, efficiency and tidiness of the Newtown staff.

Jonathon and his team installed a new shower in our New Town property and have done a fantatistic job. We have had some issues with our bathroom and after being messed around by another contractor contacted New Town Renovations after they did a brilliant job installing a new front door in our flat. In an industry where most traders cannot communicate with the clients or even turn up on time, Jonathon and his team are the complete opposite and set the bar for being head and shoulders above anyone else we have used. Always communicating with us, providing updates, doing extra work off their own backs when needed, sticking to schedule and ensuring their work is done to highest standard. Would recommend to anyone getting renovation work done.

We had two large windows upgraded with sealed units and the installation of draught excluder brushes. The work involved the provision and installation of new sash units (10 in total), replacement of rotted sills and the replacement of sash cords, pulleys and other fittings..
Jonathon provided very clear explanations about the work to be done, the progress of the work and the invoice.
While the price was not the cheapest quote we had, the work was efficiently carried out and we are very happy with the overall result.

iI am very happy with the finished window, it looks great - the workmen were totally professional and helpful, minimal disruption and Jonathon kept me informed throughout.

We used Newtown renovations to replace all 4window and a set of kitchen doors in our New Town flat with conservation approved new timber sash and case windows with double glazing. The finish was great, all the tradesmen involved were a pleasure to have working in the flat, very clean and tidy. After sales follow up when I broke a lock and couldn't open one of the window was very prompt.

Repaired rotten timber and doors on summerhouse. All work was carried out neatly with care. Repairs left primed and ready for painting. Doors were sticking so these were fixed because the joiner noticed. First class work. Recommend.

I think they did a great job repairing our shutters. Very efficient and the guys were very helpful. I would recommend them.

Jonathon and his team did a great job in renovating very neglected windows in the flat. They now look better than new. They fully respected our property.
I would also mention the excellent paint work by Gary.

A wardrobe was left unfinished by another trader who we believe went out of business before the job was completed. We required a sliding door system to be supplied and fit, with the complication that the job had been started with a specific system in mind. Reliability was very important to us in choosing someone to complete the job which is why we made use of the Trusted Trader scheme.

Communications with the company were excellent - they kept us fully informed throughout. This included seeking appropriate doors and sharing photographs with us to confirm suitability. Unfortunately the installation was delayed by coronavirus restrictions. However, the company communicated very well with us during this period, and arranged an installation date as soon as the restrictions were lifted. The installation itself was done to a high standard, with the company following up afterwards to check we were happy.

They are maybe not the cheapest, but overall the service is very professional.

Brilliant set of built-in shelves and cupboards designed and fitted by Jonathon and the team. We were kept in touch with progress and plans as lockdown delayed thinigs. Once the joiners could get in again, the fit was quick, mess free and the finished product looks great.

Second job by Newtown Renovations, this time lifting and relaying a damaged timber floor in the kitchen. Work carried out to a high standard without disrupting the existing kitchen fittings. Not just a sweep up after the 3 day job either, a firm of cleaners were sub-contracted to clean the kitchen and hall after work was finished.

A great job by helpful and courteous workers. Their office even contacted me after the work was finished to see how it had all gone.

I can't recommend them highly enough.

Jonathon, Thomas and the team did a great job with our attic conversion installing a fixed stairs to create a new accessible store room. All the guys were great to deal with and the quality of work has been great. It’s really transformed the look of the upstairs. Despite issues with delivery of materials we were kept informed of any delays or issues that inevitably happen in such an in depth renovation. We were very impressed with the overall cleanliness as the end of each day they made sure as much as possible the job was tidy and tools, rubbish, equipment put away. They even arranged for cleaners to come in to clean all rooms on a number of occasions throughout the works. I’d highly recommend.
