Lumen have carried out several key jobs around the house, ranging from installations to urgent repairs. Andrew has put in new overhead lights, installed an intercom, a new thermostat, lighting systems in both bedrooms and bedroom wardrobes, and on the latest occasion, painstakingly detected and replaced a tricky failed fuse in a range cooker.
He offers expertise combined with method and efficiency and, in addition, a flair for determined problem solving whenever a solution isn't straightforward. Throw in the cheerful dependability shown on every visit, and that's why my recommendation is unhesitating!

Andrew provided an excellent service when my mother needed some work done in her home. She is 99 years old and required the light in her kitchen to be fixed quickly so that her carers could carry out their duties in making meals and other essential things for her. I would recommend Andrew to everyone as he is reliable and carries out his work effectively within short timescales.

Andrew was very professional and kept me informed about what he was doing and if there were any issues during the installation. He also cleaned up after himself when finished for the day which some trades seem to forget!

Communication with Andrew was very professional from start to finish, he responded very promptly to original enquiry and sent clearly laid out breakdown of work involved and costs. Andrew from Lumen Electrical Services Ltd has been absolutely great. He is really friendly and approachable and, in my experience, will go the extra mile to help.
We knew that we wanted a Nest Thermostat installed but also wanted to talk through a number of other electrical issues / potential pieces of work Andrew came out and spent time talking through all the different things we raised and then very quickly gave us quotes for them.
We arranged to have the thermostat fitted which was done on time, very quickly and with no mess.
Andrew checked in the following day to make sure everything was working ok.
During this piece of work, issues linked to wifi and connectivity arose and Andrew was able to recommend someone to provide us with advice on this.
We will be using Andrew to replace our outdated fuse board before we undertake additional renovation on our flat.

Andrew was easy to get in contact with and I was able to arrange an appointment for the next day.

Andrew was very reliable, kept all appointments his quality of work was very good, he kept everything tidy and cleared up after his work. He is also very respectful and courteous. I would definitely use his services again.

I approached Andrew to replace some ceiling lights, and while he was here I asked to advise on another potential lighting replacement, which he has since done. He undertook all the work quickly and efficiently and clearly takes pride in doing his work to a high quality, as well as being a very pleasant guy. Lumen installed a bathroom mirror for me. The electrician was punctual, described the work that he was going to carry out - including explaining an essential change to what I had initially described - carried out the work efficiently and left the bathroom in a clean and tidy state. A friendly, efficient and professional service that I would sincerely recommend.
