Andrew installed a new fuse box, hob and light fitment for me. All his prior communication was prompt and very helpful. I was able to arrange a day for the work that was suitable for me and Andrew arrived on time. I found Andrew to be very conscientious about his work which he did to a very high standard. He explained everything fully that was required and left everything clean and tidy. He was very pleasant to have around!

Consumer unit replaced and new wiring for a cooker. Highly recommended. Very easy to organise work and communicate with company. Staff were punctual, pleasant and work was carried out to a high standard. Would not hesitate to recommend.

I was very impressed with Lumen from start to finish - the estimate was clear and understandable and the work was carried out professionally and on time. Any queries that I had were explained clearly.
The work was carried out in my home and Lumen made sure that the house was as clean and tidy as it was prior to them starting.

Lumen provided a very competitive quotation which was detailed and covered exactly what was discussed. Andrew turned up punctually and the work was done in the time expected. His work was of the best quality, he was extremely tidy, and amiable but focussed. He is obviously a first rate electrician; his advice was appropriate and actually enhanced the system that I had in mind. After the work was finished he promptly supplied me with the certificates of work done that I required for insurance purposes. I have no hesitation in recommending him as a Trusted Trader.

Andrew carried out a very professional job. He replied immediately to my enquiry; attended to price the 4 electrical jobs I wanted done; fixed a date for the work and arrived promptly. He carried the work out efficiently, tidy up as he went along and removed all debris. I have already recommended to a friend.

Andrew responded promptly when asked to come and provide a quote. He came back to suggest a different option based on price. He was willing to complete the work outwith trading hours to avoid disruption to my business. He completed the work on the dates agreed and kept to schedule, visiting me the next day to ensure I was happy. Standard of work completed was excellent. Left area tidy and removed all debris. I would highly recommend this company.

Andrew was very quick to reply to my enquiry for installing smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors. Andrew explained what was required with the new legislation over the phone and a date was given for the work to be carried out. Conor arrived early and was friendly, professional and knowledgable. The work was carried out efficiently and I received a phone call later from Andrew to check I was happy with the work.I would definitely choose Lumen if I require any further electrical work in the future.

He is reliable and conscientious at all stages of the project from providing a detailed quotation to turning up on time and completing the work to a very high standard. Recommended by a local GP, and now recommended to all my friends. Andrew is extremely professional, fairly priced, tidy and efficient. Fitted down lighting in kitchen, installed fuse box and rewired sockets and removed ancient electrical wires. On one occasion he came to give us a quote and felt so strongly that he couldn’t leave some hanging electrical wires post my husbands DIY job that he kindly went to the car to get equipment to tape them up and safely out of hands reach before leaving. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

They did a really good job updating all my fuseboards etc and rationalising the mess of electrical wiring. Very thorough and neat, and used common sense to get the job done efficiently and effectively. Would definitely use again.
