Developing an electrical issue during the COVID-19 Lockdown adds a new set of concerns to the problem, but Lumen Electrical dealt with all of these quickly and professionally. After calling in the morning, Andrew was able to arrange to come out on the afternoon of the same day, and he fixed the problems with our shower in 45 minutes. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable, and he worked quickly and professionally to a high standard, taking the time to ensure that he left no mess when he was finished. He remained masked and gloved throughout the repair, and practised safe distancing the entire time he was in our home.
If you've been putting off an electrical repair due to worries about COVID-19, I'd advise you to consider Lumen Electrical. They were excellent, and we'll be using them again in the future if we need anything else repaired or installed.

Lumen upgraded the lighting in our block to LED. Everything was seamless from start to finish. The quickest to provide a quote and also the most reasonable. Work completed the next week and would definitely recommend for anyone looking for high quality, timely and reasonably priced electrical work.

I have used Lumen Services on a couple of occasions. (LED lighting, replacement of bathroom fan and switches).
Andrew replied promptly, was friendly, helpful and efficient. I have no hesitation in recommending him for any electrical work.

Right from the initial enquiry, Andrew corresponded promptly via email to work out exactly what we needed.
On the day Andrew turned up eactly on time and completed the work to my complete satisfaction. Some key points to highlight:
1. Had everything with him he needed for the job
2. Tidied up (including hoovering the floors) after he finished
3. Took away all surplus materials and boxes etc.
I was left with nothing to do apart from dispose of the old light fittings!
Excellent experience and we'll be recommending Lumen and using him again.

Andrew came in to install 3 new power sockets around the flat. He managed to come in to do the work a day after I phoned, very quick, tidy and was lovely too! Would definitely recommend and use Andrew again. :)

I contacted Lumen to get my new smoke alarms installed. I have also used them previously when I had a problem with my kitchen lights that two other electricians couldn't fix - Craig identified the issue straight away and fixed it for me. The office are always very quick to respond and book you in, and Craig the electrician is very friendly, punctual, and does a super job. Booking and invoicing was always swift and straightforward. Highly recommended - I wouldn't use any other electrician.

The experience was first class. Our LED lighting system needed replacement ; details and options were explained, the work was carried out quickly and professionally, quality of finish was impressive and a significant improvement on the original.

Excellent work carried out for light fittings in kitchen. Andrew turned up when he said he would and was tidy, efficient and safe. More recently I asked Andrew to replace my smoke alarms with interlinked ones. Rather than accept the job and charge me, Alan suggested the alarms may already be interlinked and explained how I would check. This proved to be the case, saving me several hundred pounds - thanks to Andrew's knowledge and honesty.

Lumen electrical ltd was recommended to us. I have used them for various jobs over a year, and feel now is the time to let others know about my experience with them. They have not returned to any work that been carried out by them, and all been to a good and satisfactory standard. Communications been excellent, and we were even notified if there is a slight delay, due to traffic. Andrew attended to our recent jobs himself and i found him very knowledgable, professional, polite, and did that extra bit, to make sure the job is done correctly and to a high standard. I will use Lumen again.

I have used this firm twice recently and have nothing but praise for them. From the initial call when a polite and friendly person answered all my questions to making a time for an appointment. Craig arrived on time and resurrected all the lamps that weren't working plus temporarily getting some of the bathroom lights working. He returned a few weeks later to put in new fittings in the bathroom. I am an older person with limited eye sight and it has been wonderful to find a firm who are personable and do what they say they are going to do in good time. Thank you Alan, Andrew and Craig! I recommend Lumen 100%.
