Although it was just a small job to replace a wall switch, Andrew responded quickly to the initial enquiry and managed to schedule the work at a time that suited us. He was very polite and professional and carried out the work quickly and to a very high standard.

We had a new extractor fan and new led down lighters fitted in two bathrooms.
Andrew came and quoted for the work and when we decided to go ahead he sent one of his work men Craig to do the work. Craig did a great job. Neat and fast and no issues at all with the work done.

Lumen have carried out several key jobs around the house, ranging from installations to urgent repairs. Andrew has put in new overhead lights, installed an intercom, a new thermostat, lighting systems in both bedrooms and bedroom wardrobes, and on the latest occasion, painstakingly detected and replaced a tricky failed fuse in a range cooker.
He offers expertise combined with method and efficiency and, in addition, a flair for determined problem solving whenever a solution isn't straightforward. Throw in the cheerful dependability shown on every visit, and that's why my recommendation is unhesitating!

Work undertaken was the replacement of kitchen lights following water coming in from the flat above and the installation of a fuse box. Andrew was very helpful and courteous. Work was completed to high professional standard and was fairly priced. I didn't know anything about Lumen Electrical Services prior to contacting Andrew but I'm so glad I did so. I was very impressed by the service and highly recommend their work.

Urgent request during covid lockdown as no power in kitchen. Service excellent and no mess left. Used again the following week to instal an outside light. Again great job, completed quickly, no mess. Lovely guy and would highly recommend.

Andrew is professional and reliable. He gave me all the knowledge of what and why I needed things done. He installed a new fusebox and smoke alarms and sockets for me, adhering to industry standards, while also adhering to the COVID guidelines.
His aftercare was great, the new fusebox picked up a fault straight away and Andrew came back and fixed it a day later.
Have already recommended Andrew to family and will continue to do so.

I highly recommend Andrew at Lumen Electrical Services. Prompt response, good communication as well as competitive price. Andrew was punctual, professional, and reliable. Lumen installed a new Fusebox, while adhering to the current Covid-19 safety working measures. We needed repairs to our shared stairwell lighting that involved an initial site visit with advice on how to contact the network about service box repairs, followed by a visit to repair a stair light and sort the timings. We've also had a quote to upgrade old lighting. I'd recommend Lumen because of - clear and prompt replies/quotes, competitive pricing & their helpful, pleasant and professional customer service. Also, they are following gov guidelines around covid, and keeping their staff safe.

We had three outside lights fitted. The whole process from enquiry to estimate to doing the work was quick and very customer focussed. Andrew discussed and recommended the options for positioning the lights, and the work was done promptly and carefully. There was a small glitch with switches but that was quickly resolved.
