From initial contact to follow-up emails; Andrew was quick to respond and keep me up-to-date with answers to my numerous queries. Andrew at Lumen installed new kitchen lighting for me (both under-cupboard LEDs and ceiling pendants), plus installed a new double plug socket in a cupboard and rewired an existing light switch. He prepared a detailed estimate for me and offered a range of appointment times. His work was well priced and meticulously carried out. He spent a long time to get the details and finish just right, and even vacuumed up afterwards! Any questions I had were answered and queries followed up very quickly. I would highly recommend his services for any job, big or small.

It's the 2nd time I've used Lumen. I like that I can email and Andrew gets back to me in a timely manner and his guys turn up when they're meant to! Efficiently sends invoice the same day so I can pay promptly. Craig arrived this time with his mask and was socially distant. Had the job done in good time, too. Always pleasant to deal with.

Lumen installed our Nest Hello doorbell for us after we had had the work turned down by other electricians.

They were friendly and helpful, arrived on time, the installation was very good and everything tidied up afterwards. They were also able to give assistance with adding the WiFi doorbell onto our home network.

We contacted Lumen Electrical Services after having been let down by another electrican. Andrew provided us with a detailed estimate and was able to attend to the job quickly. The job turned out to be more complicated than originally thought, but Andrew explained each step and proposed workable alternatives when the original plan wasn’t going to work. Extremely high level of workman ship on the entirety of the job and Andrew and Craig were meticulous in tidying up after completing the job.

Developing an electrical issue during the COVID-19 Lockdown adds a new set of concerns to the problem, but Lumen Electrical dealt with all of these quickly and professionally. After calling in the morning, Andrew was able to arrange to come out on the afternoon of the same day, and he fixed the problems with our shower in 45 minutes. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable, and he worked quickly and professionally to a high standard, taking the time to ensure that he left no mess when he was finished. He remained masked and gloved throughout the repair, and practised safe distancing the entire time he was in our home.

If you've been putting off an electrical repair due to worries about COVID-19, I'd advise you to consider Lumen Electrical. They were excellent, and we'll be using them again in the future if we need anything else repaired or installed.
