I called Lumen when we were badly let down by another provider. Lumen were recommended by a work colleague an I called and explained the situation (new cooker delivered but they wouldn't install it as "they detected a problem" with our electrics (after uninstalling our old cooker). Andrew came out the same day and carried out tests (to find nothing wrong!) and also installed the cooker. Cannot fault his communication and service - especially as it wasn't planned into his day. I would not hesitate to recommend them, and will call on them again in future for any electrical work.

Absolutely great. I sent an email enquiry to ask if stair lighting could be fixed within the week, and it was fixed that afternoon! Work completed very quickly, to a high standard, and for a very good price. Thank you!

Andrew was contacted by us to remove some recessed ceiling spotlights, add under unit lighting in the kitchen, install new light fittings in lounge and dining area and provide required checks and certification for electrical sign off of our property. We cannot speak highly enough of the professional, prompt, reliable and high quality work that Andrew delivered. He kept us informed at all points, including the finding of some problems (over heated burnt out cables and unconnected live wires from previous electrical work by other electricians). We were so happy with the work that we also asked him to upgrade the WiFi to improve access over the whole house and replace some outside light fittings. We would not hesitate in recommending Lumen Electrical Services and would not consider using anyone else again for any future electrical work in our home.

Although it was just a small job to replace a wall switch, Andrew responded quickly to the initial enquiry and managed to schedule the work at a time that suited us. He was very polite and professional and carried out the work quickly and to a very high standard.

Provided fixes to electrical issues and installing new heater. Connor was very helpful and communicated what was needed and along with apprentice Jack worked to a high standard - cleaning up as they went along.

Lumen have carried out a couple of small repair jobs for us, replacing sockets and switches etc. Service is very prompt and efficient, communication is great, they turn up when they say they will, and prices are reasonable. Would highly recommend.

We needed repairs to our shared stairwell lighting that involved an initial site visit with advice on how to contact the network about service box repairs, followed by a visit to repair a stair light and sort the timings. We've also had a quote to upgrade old lighting. I'd recommend Lumen because of - clear and prompt replies/quotes, competitive pricing & their helpful, pleasant and professional customer service. Also, they are following gov guidelines around covid, and keeping their staff safe.

We were so pleased with our experience and the quality of the work carried out by Lumen Electrical Services Ltd. This was to initially carry out a condition report (EICR) and then to decommission the old electrical circuits and then to do a new full installation.
They provided detailed estimates, communicated regularly and carried out the agreed works professionally as well as when advised. We would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

I contacted Lumen Electrical Services Ltd regarding a tricky job fitting a bathroom extractor fan into my rental property. Three other companies had already turned the job down or proposed more complex solutions. Andrew at Lumen provided reassuring advice and was able to quote from the internal and external photos I supplied. They turned up on time, carried out the work as they said they would and did an excellent job. I couldn’t be happier with their service.

I live in a tenement and the stair lighting had gone out from 3 of the 5 lights creating a dangerous situation in the stair. I emailed Andrew on Monday for advice and help, having read the reviews on the Trusted Trader website, and he was out on Tuesday afternoon to recitify the situation. He is reliable, quoted the price for the job, turned up as agreed and is very pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend him and we will definitely use him again in the stair.
