I had a floodlight fitted to front of my property by Keith Gunn Electrical solutions. The service was prompt, professional, efficient, friendly and tidy. The electrician who fitted the light said that I should ring him if I needed him to come and make any adjustments to the light and he’d be happy to pop by. I had a minor problem with the set-up initially and when I contacted the electrician, he gave me a clear and simple instruction which resolved it straight away.

The only reason that I gave a 4 rather than a 5 for service/product was that the although the floodlight was designed to last for some years, it failed after less than 2 years. However, this was a product failing rather than the fault of Keith Gunn. When I contacted Keith Gunn Electrical to tell them about it, they sent someone out the following day to replace the lighting unit under warranty, without charge. There was no quibble (although they said that if it failed prematurely again, I would need to contact the manufacturer directly). Again, the young electrician who came out was cheerful and friendly, quick and efficient. Although it was his last job on a Friday afternoon, he took time to make sure that the replacement device was set to my requirements.

I would definitely call upon the services of Keith Gunn Electrical in future if the need arose, and would have no problem recommending them.

Replaced a light fitting on ceiling, electrician was punctual and polite, job done in no time at all, and the company were very helpful as I am a disabled war veteran.

I had a call from my tenant to say the kitchen lights weren’t working. I called Keith Gunn and they were able to visit the flat the next day and rectify the problem.

Thermostat relocated and new socket and tv aerial fitted.
Initial impressions were good despite our original appointment being rescheduled due to staffing issues. It wasn't until after the job was completed that we realised there had been a breakdown in communication - we had asked for a new thermostat to be fitted at the meeting but instead the old one was relocated. Our failure to check the quotation properly resulted in us not realising this mistake, however we were pleased with the new socket and tv aerial.
I then contacted them to enquire about a new thermostat to replace the re-sited old one and that's when the problems started. I rang on the Monday following the Friday of the work and explained what had happened and then sent a photo of the thermostat to be replaced. Nobody replied all week so I rang again on the Friday, again nobody got back to me. I rang once again the following Monday and once again have been ignored. I did say that if they couldn't afford me the common courtesy of a reply that day then I would take my business elsewhere....so I shall.
My advice to new customers - check the quotation carefully to avoid any errors/differences and should you need any follow up with the company Good Luck!

Keith Gunn Electrical Solutions have completed a number of jobs for me in the past. This included fitting additional wall sockets with USB ports, making safe a faulty socket and most recently fitting a new extractor fan and lighting fixture to my bathroom. I highly recommend this company, they've always been totally professional and turn up at the agreed time and date. 5 star service.

Had a replacement cooker hood installed. Young man was competent, polite, and knew what he was doing. He even noticed that the previous installation had left the wrong fuse in the electrical plug. More economical that the previous electrician too!

Phoned company on Friday, arranged for 08.00 on Monday, electrician turned up politely got on with the issue/job and the job was done and dusted, great stuff !!!

Very reliable, great receptionist.

Their polite engineers provided very thorough inspections. When they uncovered problems they phoned to explain the issues and provided estimates, then waited for confirmation before carrying out the work which was booked in the following week. Overall they provided a very efficient, professional service.

Keith Gunn responded very promptly to a competitive tender request for
the fitting of new downlights (customer supplied) and other minor electrical upgrades, sending a very helpful surveyor to assess the work, with an estimate submitted the following day. After acceptance of their tender two engineers and an apprentice were on site within a week , completing the project within the day as forecast. Their lead engineer, Peter, was very helpful and customer oriented, leaving the site tidy and complete, an electrical certificate being immediately provided. I would certainly use Keith Gunn again, and would recommend.

I have used KGES for various jobs over the last three years or so and have always been impressed with the service they provide. I recommend them to all my friends and neighbours.

The work was to change the old neon tube stair lights in our tenement to LED fittings.
Though the quote was provided in 2018 it was retained unchanged for 3 months while we got owners agreement to go ahead.
A choice was offered regarding the date to carry out the work. The electrician who was polite and courteous turned up at the time agreed and finished within the expected timescale. The worksite was left tidy and the old fittings removed.
A recommendation was made regarding other work where the installation was found not to meet current standards.

We had our kitchen rewired as part of a mostly-DIY project. The company communicated well from the outset and were quick to provide a quote and book in the work. They were also marginally cheaper than our other quotes.

The electricians were reliable and did a good job, listening to our requirements, they tidied up after themselves as well which we appreciated. As a bonus, they mounted the cooker hood for us - we only expected them to provide the power socket so we were nicely surprised!

Very pleased with the work completed. The guys were polite and efficient, good enough to answer general questions I had about the electrics in my property and work I might have done further down the line. It was just a small job but they arrived on time, work was done with very little disruption, place was spotless when they left. I'd be happy to have them back if I have the need in the future.
