I had looked about and asked a few companies for a quote to rewire old property I had inherited.
I had some very expensive Quotes and some looked at it and didn't want to take on the job.
From the first moment I talk the job over with the chap at the desk I got a good vibe about this company ( think he was called Bill )
And Keith Gunn did not let me down.
Great work and finished on time and the guys where polite and hard workers.

I've just used Keith Gunn Electrical Services (KGES) for the first time to install CAT6 cabling and add a new double mains socket in a small flat. I'd tried many other electricians in recent months to get this job done, but in the current circumstances was unable to find anyone able to do the work in anything like a reasonable time scale. I was very pleased and surprised when David at KGES told me that although they too are extremely busy, they would be able to take on smaller jobs like this as they specifically keep back some staff availability for small jobs and emergencies. So they were able to fit me in at short notice, even on exactly the date I wanted. David was also brilliant at discussing the job specification in great detail, and over the course of several emails was able to provide a quote without having to do a site visit. On the day Jack the electrician was really helpful and friendly in discussing the work and did a great job - the end result is exactly how I wanted it. I'm very impressed with the professionalism, efficiency, can-do attitude and friendliness of everyone I was in contact with. I would use KGES again for future electrical work and highly recommend them.

I have used Keith Gunn twice in the last few months. The first time was to replace a dimmer and switch which had been incorrectly installed by a previous electrician; the second was to install smoke detectors to make my flat compliant with new legislation. Each time I have been hugely impressed by the efficiency, responsiveness and organisation of the company, and the skill and neatness of the team of electricians who came. The dimmer turned out to be surprisingly fiddly and several repeat visits were needed for adjustments: the team were determined to get it right, and came out promptly and without complaint. I was so impressed I asked them back to do the work on the smoke detectors. Communication has been superb throughout and the company have been a pleasure to deal with. I'd recommend them without hesitation.

To comply with the up and upcoming change in legislation for integrated smoke alarms in our house, we contacted Keith Gunn Electrical Solutions for a quote.
The office staff were friendly, helpful and were able to provide a quote quickly.
An appointment was then arranged for the instal/replacement of smoke alarms the following week. The workmen arrived on time, were friendly, very presentable, respected our property and explained the work they were carrying out which was completed efficiently.
For future electrical work, Keith Gunn Electrical Solutions will be our first port of call.

I organised a small job with KGES, which was partially completed though they have let me down with poor administration and customer service that ultimately wasted a lot of my time.
From my first contact with KGES, they had poor administrative skills, initially recording both my address and phone number incorrectly, which persisted throughout dealing with them, even though I continuously supplied them with my correct details. This resulted in the engineer even going to the wrong address.
The work that was done was of a decent quality, but they've wasted lots of my time and ultimately didn't finish the job.

Keith Gunn is a breath of fresh air amongst trades. It is a really well organised company. Phones are answered promptly. Quotes are sent promptly. You get an appointment promptly. The electricians turn up on time. They are courteous, knowlegable and, above all, very good at their job!

New double plug installed in lounge, dismantling of existing chandelier and build and fitting of new light fitment in dining area. Also, 3 ceiling pendants installed in kitchen. David came out to price up the job very quickly following my enquiry and then Calum came to do the job yesterday (15 Nov). I liked the fact that everyone at Keith Gunn got back to me quickly, turned up when planned and were friendly and helpful too - sadly this can be a rare thing these days. Overall a very positive experience for me and I am delighted with the work and would not hesitate to recommend the company to my friends and family.

I had electrics upgraded for a new shower being put in. Everyone I engaged with at Keith Gunn was really polite and helpful - the estimator, sales team and the electrician, too. A very prompt and professional service and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

I needed a ceiling light fitting replaced and when I phoned, was offered lots of availability as well as the price up front that was confirmed when I supplied photos of the job and the replacement.
The electrician came exactly on time, brought a high ladder and had completed the job within 15 minutes. He was friendly and professional.
The light fitting that was removed will go up in my new flat and I'll be calling Keith Gunn again to sort it.

I was able to get a short notice appointment for what was a very small job, which ended up being slightly more complicated than it appeared. The engineer was very helpful though, and managed to quickly find a suitable workaround. Prompt, efficient and helpful service.

Very efficient service. Contacted them to get a light replaced and an extra light put in. Replied to my website query within a day and every subsequent email as quickly. Gave me an appointment a couple of days after I accepted the quote and the job was done within a couple of hours. Would happily recommend to anyone.
